A funny thing I noticed though - and probably right - but when I changed my default 1st XI from 5-2-3 to 4-5-1 my keeper stats dropped a point.

I assume the keeper stats is an average of all players in the XI rather than a study of just your keeper in that XI.

Had never realised that before.  Bit harsh really as who gives a toss how well your other players can GK, if anyone other than a GK ends up in goal you're fecked anyway :)

My record last season was 808 until replacements needed, I'll be trying to beat that figure though.
Even with those stats I couldn't win much..... ;D ;D ;D

I say full credit to the match engine as there was a time that you could win matches with bad tactics against decent teams as long as team stats were sky high..... ;) ;) ;)

Was worried about last night, lightwater were the last team to score against me!

My defence has been solid this season I think I'll take them out on the tiles if I win it  :)

Congrats Brad on another Conf.2 title on a plus note for me managed to beat Chili after losing to him 3 times this season even thou I had the worst of the tactics.

Ya no doubt, I had a large TA and shot total but they didn't want me to win as Fools tied it while both of us were playing defensive. Either way this sucks cause we have had so many issues this season  >:(
