i wouldn't say my Pussycats are howling more like singing with a bad throat.There's a chance i won't be on the fence tomorrow playing the Boars tonight.Is it a coincidence that the top 8 teams all play each other on the same day or am i talking out of my rear end,and just to illustrate my point

No it isn't, I've had this on Cricket Manager where the best 8 teams are clearly better than the other 8 - 14 out of 30 rounds you all play each other and the other 16 you play a bottom half team. Guess it's an easy way to sort the draw each season.

On that point, I seem to be battling for the 'best of the rest' title which suits me in my first season in 7-1-1 :-)

Just to say bye guys. I've enjoyed playing with you all but am transferring to a lower league as I'm not enjoying the game so much these days. If the team does fade then I'd rather let it go in a lower league where it won't effect other results. Spending more time on Rocking Soccer (no rollbacks!)

Goodbye and thanks for the crack. 10 years SL enjoyment  helping me back from the brink of my life collapsing when I was addicted to football manager!  ;D

Sad to see you moving you Monks,

In my mind you have been improving over the last few seasons, won 7-1-1, and got into FL1, will miss your banter too.

Not like the old days I know, but being diehards we stick around and continue on.

Like me you have found a new love in Rocking Soccer (brilliant game for us addicts)

I'll be seeing you their, and watching your matches...... :) :) :)

Had Enough, let's see if the Romans have still had enough now that they have won 7-1-1....... :) :)...well done by the way!!!

I've taken over management of The Monks. Well, second in command actually, as The Abbot likes to approve all Team related matters. Brother Wayne went on sabbatical from September 23rd and I was Brother "caretaker" Ag from then. I tried to persuade him to stay but he has gone out on loan to The Himalaya's and The Dali Lama's people. A bit like Batman in Batman Begins, cough, but not quite ::) I will try and maintain Daoist traditions and hope that this cassock gets less itchy. Bless you all ;) 8)

Recovering well in Conf 7 after some tough early matches and 1 or 2 iffy results.  Hoping for a win against Rebel Rovers which may well see me up to 8th by halfway :) I've had some luck along the way; I think 1 game (maybe in friendly comp) saw me with 90 mins tactical advantage even after 1/2 time changes  :o
