Game is getting more and more silly by the minute. There are too many crazy scores like Harricam getting beat 0-8 then winning 1-0 twice fighting off adverse tactics. If they can fight off adverse tactics in some games they can do it in all. They might still lose but not so dramatically.It's the match engine program. Not good enuff. 8)
Happened to me last night too with Port Morrow, both of my ADEFs are out for my game against Super Imps. >:( Ironic how the worst team in the league ruined my chances this season.

I'm not putting a bid in to be part of the UCB Team. Good Luck chaps. But the top four Teams in 711 have yet to get stuck into each other and take points off each other. There are some exceptions admittedly. However if you look at the fixtures most of the top four have played 2-3 lower Teams in the division giving them a boost. The Rollback has taken league points of most of us. The daoists had five wins. One of my wins turned into a draw and I thought I was going to beat Deca(in my dreams) but the game was rolled back AGAIN. We lost the Romans due to Rollback results because not everybody is Deca and is willing to fall on their sword.
So some of those UCB reserves may be alot closer when they play Teams further down the division. They may not but I suspect things will even out. Also the Team who came third last Season did very well and has earned his stripes to be in the mix.
In the last analysis Deca has probably got it right. But top four after less than ten games does not always mean top four at the end of the Season. ;D ::) 8)
Got the leaders tonight, so it's going to be a very tough encounter away.
Pussycats have shown yesterday that the Chateau's are beatable so i'm hoping for a repeat tonight :)
Blimey......was forced to play my reserves against Bristol Rovers, but still got a few long term injuries.... :( :( :(
The manager has left his team on Psycho, so be warned future opponents, try and minimise injuries by playing reserves, but then you risk AWOLs, cant win..... ;D ;D ;D

I think it should be the Teams that finished in the Top four positions in the division. Not just this Season but every Season. It just gives other Teams a chance to play in a top competition. It's an incentive to strive as finishing 5th is not good enough. ??? 8)

Thank you for kind words but I'm shocked that having come back from holiday and find I am top. I drew with Villains and lost to the boars first time around, messaged the two to arrange defeats after the roll back. I think deca was on holiday and didn't get the message and so I won 1-0. There must have been another rollback or something because I didn't want to beat the Boars and didn't deserve to. I set up to lose. I'm a bit gutted and very embarrassed as I didn't want to win a championship this way. Again thank you for your kind words though.

Is it a coincidence that the top 8 teams all play each other on the same day or am i talking out of my rear end,and just to illustrate my pointNo it isn't, I've had this on Cricket Manager where the best 8 teams are clearly better than the other 8 - 14 out of 30 rounds you all play each other and the other 16 you play a bottom half team. Guess it's an easy way to sort the draw each season.

it may seem hard to beleive Ag but i have been trying but they are 2 top managers/teams,hopefully next season more of us can mount a challenge

Last night they played Psycho for the whole 90 minutes and I finished up with one player out for 8 weeks with a broken collar bone and another player out for 6 weeks with a broken finger and that one is my goalkeeper. Sometimes I think, is it worth paying to build a team only to see it wrecked by players like this. :) 8) :)

Sorry that your leaving 711 but I think you need a more dynamic, interactive Division. The games to me that helped me over the line were the 12-0 win over Winners Utd and the 5-0 win over Red Stars. That does your goal difference wonders. Also winning games against you and Deca always help. Usually I can't string four wins together but this Season it fell into place ;) 8)

Only reason for me leaving is that game link i posted, its just too obvious it was done on purpose to give Harricam the advantage, otherwise I'm used to coming second or third to CSI and you ;D
Well I'm glad you have come off the fence on this issue. It's a shame your leaving over the result of one game. I can say, hand on heart that I have never had any contact with Winners United and their Manager. The game was not fixed. Winners lost the tactics battle and the game allowed Harricam to score twelve goals.
The other way to look at it is that Winners don't like Galatasaray and thought let's play crap and get thrashed to give Harricam a big goal difference. I don't believe that theory either. The result was just how the match engine played it. What I have said is how I see it. I supported your move from 711 as I thought you needed a division with more banter and a more lively atmosphere. Please reconsider if it's all about one game. 8)
I have not looked at the game in that detail. I just thought it was my tactical brilliance that gave Harricam a resounding victory. However I know that Managers make these type of mistakes. Gull lost to a computer team in 611 by subbing his goalkeeper with an outfield player if I remember correctly. Maybe Gull and the Winners Manager had too much John Daniels whilst sorting their advanced tactics ;) 8)
Ag is a decent and honest manager who deserved to win the conference title, he can't be held responsible for the actions of managers he's playing in the league or competitions.

I wouldn't give Gala such a hard time over this, completely understandable his frustration. Looking at the way people reacted to me putting my reserve team in 3-1-2 god knows how they'd react to something like this happening to them.
For whatever reason Winners United haven't bothered setting up for the HarriCam games - it's as clear as day. Perhaps he wanted to see a new title winner as Gala won it the year before, who knows. If Winners is selective in the games he sets up in then Galas probably best out of that league.

Its not about losing the title in a normal league though, as I'm no stranger to losing out on winning this league! But if there was an intentional effort to make me lose or get someone else to win the league then its a different story. Looking at what has happened there is a very strong suggestion towards that - In my opinion. (at the time of the game, we were nearly same on Goal Difference and this big win put him well in front) And that's not to say Ag doesn't deserve to be up there either, he beat me in both of the games this season fair and square.
But the bottom line is IF something like that is happening then i would rather not be a part of this conference. and that's what I'm trying to understand

Two big names of conference 7, both hitting a slight downturn in form as of late so means a good cup run for either of these sides would be great for team morale! My prediction is a tight 1-0 to the Villians

A debut in the C7 cup for Texas Oldham up against one of the consistent elders of 7-1-1 in the boars, very interested in how this game plays out but I can see experience prevailing. My prediction is a 2-0 to the Boars
SL Benfica v Ogres
7-1-1s champions 2 seasons back had a tough season just gone by and has had a rough start this term, ogres just like the boars are a consistent team at the top tier of conference 7, runners up in the cup last season, a tight game that could swing either way. I predict the ogres to go on another good cup run starting with a 2-1 win here
CSI Westgate On Sea v Green Star Knights
The battle of the multiple team managers, Brian being the more established manager in C7 but Nish seems to always rouse his players up for big cup games, this one also tough to call but I predict home advantage will help Westgate with a 1-0 win
Sandford St Martin v Padstow United
The two minnows of the C7 cup have drawn each other in the first round hoping for a good run, unfortunately for them I can’t see either getting past the quarter finals, other managers watching this game hoping to draw the winner in the next round, I predict a goal fest with Sandford coming out 5-3 winners
KC Shuffle v Beeky Blinders
The shuffle can beat anyone on their day and have come up against another C7 cup debutant in newly formed team beeky blinders who seem to be just starting to find their feet in the game, I can see them challenging for silverware in the future but not just yet, a 3-0 home win I think here

Last season 7-1-1 runner up is going through a re build and has caused form to drop as of late but should still have too much power for the red stars who got relegated last season but are looking to bounce back, even though Galatasaray are going through a rough time at the moment they should still rout in this, going for a 4-0 home win

A good start for the last two times champion, even with players declining, and two teams just a defeat away. Aston Villains and The KC Shuffle were second and third last season, ad they are the teams closer to the leader. Brazilian Piggys is the only team just with wins.

The epic battle for the title on Conference 7 is coming to an end. Next friday morning when we will log in, we will know who will be the new champion, but not until then, i guess. At the moment i believe the battle is reduced to two teams, Green Star Knights and Benfica. Everybodys knows that Benfica fans hate green, because its the colour of their rivals Sporting, but to be honest they are not rivals anymore.
Anyway, Green Star Knights and Benfica have exactly the same number of points, 63, and Nish have a difference of goal average of more 2 goals than Benfica. In his last game GSK will have Red Stars, a team that have conceded a lot of goals, so i believe he will win, the league if both won their games. Top 2 have met for the last time on 28th May, with a win for Benfica, but since then Nish started a run of 12 victories in a row and thanks to them he is leading. On the other way, in the same 12 games, Benfica conceded 2 draws.
The KC Shuffle made a great season and he is the favourite to repeat last season third place. Brazilian Piggys, Aston Villains and Ogres are waiting for a slip but i believe it will not happen.
Top 8 decided, relegation also decided, so lets wait to know who will be the champion.
It looks that Brazilian Piggys left his team playing Nutter.
I hope he comes back soon, my defense was ravaged last night. ::)

Been a while, around 2 years to the day in fact, had a bit of a personal problem (the wife running off with a dirty Greek lol), so have been going through courts regarding our child and finances for the last 2 years so haven't really had the time to come back.There is no excuse for the Piggy's leaving his team on nutter!!!

Surprised I pulled off there win last night vs Ogres. Only just yesterday I had 5 long term injuries. Teams wrecked.
Bristol Saints been super consistent this season. Gutted I lost both games to them. Should be an interesting end to this season but it's there's to lose....
