Never ever done, I think Hoarse lost the final having won the league. That was the closest, I think.

CONFERENCE 3 CUP SEMI FINALS


Apologies for missing the previews. Here are the reports.


MMMRS Phoenix Pigs 1-4 Purple Gelato
The defending champions are out after a 4-1 defeat to Purple Gelato. Two first half goals sent Gelato on their way who now are well placed to complete a first ever conference three league and cup double.


CSI-Ramsgate   1-0    Wizards
CSI-Ramsgate, (who I tipped as potential cup winners  :D ) are in the final after a 1-0 win over Wizards. CSI struck early with a goal after 13 minutes and held on for a famous win.

CONFERENCE THREE CUP FINAL


Purple Gelato 1-0 CSI-Ramsgate

Purple Gelato are conference 3 cup champions for the second time in four seasons after a narrow 1-0 win over first time finalists CSI-Ramsgate. This was a typical cup final, tight and tense from the kick off with chances few and far between. The first half was goalless and as the second half wore on, everyone knew that one goal would probably win it. Gelato got that goal and try as they might, CSI could not fashion an equaliser.

It's a fourth title overall for Gelato who had previously won two titles under the Green Bay franchise. They also have completed the first leg of a possible league and cup double which has never been done.


Well done Purple Gelato, hard luck to CSI and thanks to everyone who played. See you next season.

Very happy to win my 4th title in a row and doing this seasons double  8)  8)

Starting strongly is the key but Globus, you pushed me the whole way this season. I very much enjoyed it and I know you will be even stronger next season  ;D
