Conference three cup round one

CSI-Ramsgate   2-1    Rathpeacon
Rathpeacon took the lead in this one but CSI leveled before half time. They took the lead on the hour and controlled the game from there.

Black Star Holiday   2-1    Wizards   
Perhaps a shock result here. Wizards led from early in the first half. Black Star leveled with twelve minutes to go and scored in extra time to record a famous win.

Dynamo Valley   4-0    Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs   
The defending champions were smashed by Dynamo Valley. Two goals in each half were enough for the 3-2-2 side who will have raised a lot of eyebrows with this result.

Sandford St Martin   10-0    Dirtbox United   
All too easy for a very clinical Sanford in this one. Leading by three at he break, the floodgates opened in the second half.

Conference three cup semi finals

Cup semi final day tomorrow. 4 teams are 90 minutes from the big day, Good luck all   

Sandford St Martin   v     Dynamo Valley
Intriguing game here. Sandford had a great first half to the league season but indifferent form in the second part of the season saw them slip down to 10th in 3-1-1. Dynamo were awesome in winning 3-2-2 but their opposition was no where near Sandford's standard. A big day out awaits one of these sides. Extra time may be needed.

CSI-Ramsgate   v    Black Star Holiday 
Two stalwarts of 3-1-1 meet here as CSI entertain the defending cup champions Black Star. Black Star beat 3-1-1 winners Wizards in round one but they have had a poor league season finishing 9th. CSI had a strong league season finishing in 4th place. League form and home advantage could be enough for CSI to edge this one.

Sandford St Martin   2-0     Dynamo Valley
Sandford were always the better side here against a well organised and determined Dynamo Valley side. Sandford took the leas after 30 minutes and while they were on top through out, it wasnt until the 87th minute that Sandford made sure of their place i the final for the first time.

CSI-Ramsgate   0-1    Black Star Holiday
A classic cup tie here. Both sides gave it everything but neither could break the deadlock in normal time. Extra time was needed and for a while it looked that penalties might be needed but a moment of magic from Stan Dup broke the deadlock. The champions are through, can they make it back to back cup titles?

CONFERENCE THREE CUP FINAL

First time finalists play the defending champions in what is an intriguing final.

Sandford St Martin   vs    Black Star Knights
The final might be taking place late but we have a great game in store that was well worth waiting for. Defending cup champions Black Star Knights are 90 minutes away from becoming just the second side to successfully defend the cup. In their way are Sandford St Martin who have yet to concede a goal in this years cup campaign.
This one could go either way, good luck to both sides.

CONFERENCE 3 CUP FINAL


Sandford St Martin   0-1    Black Star Knights
Congratulation to Black Star Knights who have become just the second team ever to successfully defend the conference 3 cup. This was tense final from the kick off and while Black Star dominated the possession, Sandford defended resolutely throughout. The dead lock was broke on 53 minutes when Brighton Early scored with deft arse flick to the net  Sandford fought hard for an equaliser but Back Star held on for a famoud victory.

Well done Black Star and thanks to everyone for playing

Yeah, that was a big blunder on my part. Thought I had logged in, when I saw the result, I couldnt believe it. I've made a terrible start to the season, just 5 points so far.
