Well done C3'ers, another 12 point haul this afternoon!  8)

Doesn't look like C1 or C2 are going anywhere though so no resting on our laurels . . .

All I’m saying is that I’m ahead of C7 on my own.  :o

CONFERENCE 3 CUP

Season 24 of the cup is here, best of luck to everyone.

Hoarse Whisperers   vs    Rathpeacon
The defending double champions open their cup campaign at home to Rathpeacon. Rathpeacon won their league encounter two days ago, can the champions gain revenge today?

Great Yarmouth Town   vs    Saiyan Warriors
4th in 3-1-1 play 7th in what could be the tie of the round. Home advantage might give Yarmouth the edge.

Wizards   vs    SatinStorm
SatinsStorm of 3-2-3 travel to one of C3s top teams. Wizards will be favourites but expect SatinStorm to put up some stern resistance.

sMAshEd   vs    Parma Violets
Big day here for sMashEd as they welcome 3-1-1 leage leaders. Parma will be favourites but again, they may be made sweat before they get over the line in this one.

Kilcully   vs    Lucys Wanderers
Little Kilcully welcome top flight Lucy's Wanderers. Wanderers will be hot favourites to make it to round two.

CSI-Ramsgate   vs    The Rumour Mill
An all top flight tie here. CSI at currently 6th and will be favourites however, Rumour Mill might fancy their chnces of a cup run starting here.

Dirtbox United   vs    Sandford St Martin
Another all top flight tie. Dirtbox are currently in a relegation battle while Sandford currently sit in the top half. Both would welcome a cup run, this one might need extra time.

Black Star Knights   vs    Filler Team One
Black Star Knights have won the cup twice in the last three seasons but now find themselves second in 3-1-2. They have an easy start to this years campaign agaisnt the filler team.

Conference 3 cup results

Some huge shocks today, 3 of the top 4 teams in 3-1-1 beaten in round one!!!!!

Thanks to everyone for taking part, best of the luck to the winners in the next round.

Hoarse Whisperers   0 - 2    Rathpeacon
The defending champions are out after a two goal win for Rathpeacon. They'll be dancing in the streets of Rathpeacon after this famouns win  :D

Great Yarmouth Town   1 - 2    Saiyan Warriors
Incredible cup tie in this one. Yarmouth led until first half injury time. No goals after the break took the tie to extra time, Saiyan struck late to win.

Wizards   9 - 0    SatinStorm
An easy win for Wizards here as their class showed against lower leage SatinStorm.

sMAshEd   2 - 1    Parma Violets
Massive shock here but a deserved win for sMAshEd. Violets took the lead after 56 minutes but sMAshEd levelled on 80 and won in extra time.

Kilcully   0 - 10    Lucys Wanderers
Clinical performance from Lucys Wanderers here, 5 goals in each half for a perfect cup campaign start.

CSI-Ramsgate   2 - 1    The Rumour Mill
Scoreless aat the break, the game came to life after half time. CSI scored twice but a late Rumour Mill goal made for a tense finish.

Dirtbox United   0 - 5    Sandford St Martin
A tight first half hour but after that Sandford showed their class to run out easy winners.

Black Star Knights   25 - 0    Filler Team One
Easy win for Black Star against the Filler Team.

Had a bad feeling all day about that game against Smashed! Not enough 'data' to be able to research them beforehand so went in almost blind with my  tactics.

Meanwhile, whilst we were all being knocked out of the Cup, we did manage another 12 out of 12 points in the UCB . . . !  8)

Outstanding effort in UCB but maybe next season sMAshEd and Saiyan should represent C3  :D

C3 cup quarter finals

Black Star Knights   vs    Lucys Wanderers
Black Star had an easy round one win over the filler team. Today will prove to be a much bigger challenge against a Lucys Wanderers side who impressed in round one.

Wizards   vs    Sandford St Martin
Wizards have been great form in the league lately and will hope to continue that good form. Sandford are  battling to make the top 8. A win here may help that cause.

Rathpeacon   vs    Saiyan Warriors
Saiyan seem to win every time these two meet recently both in the league and FL2. They'll start as favourites to make the semi finals.

sMAshEd   vs    CSI-Ramsgate
Round one giantkillers sMshEd host CSI in what could be the tie of the round. Can they pull off another shock agaisnt a top flight side?

C3 cup quarter finals

Black Star Knights   0-3    Lucys Wanderers
Lucy's Wanderers continued their impressive cup run with a clinical display away to Black Star Knights. Two first half goals put them in control before they made sure midway through the second half.

Wizards   1-0    Sandford St Martin
Nothing between these sides for much of the first half save for a 28th minute goal by Wizards. Sandford dominated after that, controlling possession and creating a bucketful of chances but the equaliser never came.

Rathpeacon   2-0    Saiyan Warriors
A rare Rathpeacon win over Saiyan. An early goal put Rathpeacon in front Saiyan threatened to level but Rathpeacon made sure on 76 minutes.

sMAshEd   1-0    CSI-Ramsgate
The sMshEd fairlytale continues as they beat top flight opposition again. A goal on the stroke of half time was enough. CSI dominated the possession but could not find an equaliser.

Big response today, another 12 out of 12!  8)

Could be a big day with C1 and C2 getting 7 and 6 points respectively!

Huge 1-0 from our friends in Great Yarmouth against old C3 rivals Purple Gelato which could turn out to be a pivotal result come three days time . . . !
