Well it seems to me that BBC reporters (and those elsewhere) don't seem to think too much before writing their headlines.

A man stabbed to death in a stabbing, well I never. He wasn't going to be stabbed to death in a shooting was he!
As for this one:

Well it made me chuckle for obvious reasons. Good job it didn't happen somewhere called Little Beaver.
