FL2 Season 66

FL2 Season 66 will be starting very soon.

Welcome to all newcomers whether they be from FL 1 above or  FL 3 below and welcome to those returning from last season.

Soon be time to submit your forecasts for the top three finishers this season. :) 8) :)

Finally we meet in the same league Bri.

For me Jellybellies win with any of the other 15 teams getting the 2 other promotion places, it's that open. Good and challenging times ahead in FL2.

I don't think Deca will win FL2. Last time out he finished 8th. Deca's well capable of winning but not sure if the knife edge commitment is there at present. Deca may only be along for the ride. Only he knows. Steve will try his hardest but The Drog's need to improve stat wise to stand a chance. Not one for this season. The Ogre's, The Real Madrid, The Naval and Military are all old hands who know what it takes. They all need a belting good start to the season to make a solid push for promotion.

Das Quinas could surprise a few people. Developing a good knowledge base for the game and could be in the mix at the business end of the season. My tip for the top are Jellybellies. Iwopp is an FL1 Manager and it was a surprise to see them back in FL2. Brian's Westgate will either be finding his feet in FL2 or could surprise a few of the established teams.

There are eight other teams who all deserve their places in FL2. Angel Rrrr's need just a touch more consistency. However this time out a promotion place is there for the taking. The remaining teams, The Shuffle, Aten Warriors, The Huckley Way, and The Aquias all look too good to be relegated. The other new comers, Corkscrew and Corinthian Casuals have been doing well in their respective 1-1 divisions.  So all in all it looks like a bumper season in FL2.

1st Jellybellies
2nd Angel Rrrr's
3rd The Real Madrid

Hot off the press the newspaper's are saying that The Lone Rangers are only going along for the ride. Ag was unavailable for comment. ;) 8)

First day of the season resulted in seven winning sides seven losing sides and two with a draw.

No high scoring games today, Perhaps a sign of how tight the season is going to be.

Winning sides today:-

   CSI-Westgate on Sea
   Angel Rrrrs
   Aston Villains

The drawn match was :-

Newly promoted Corkscrew take second place with a 2-1 win at The Huckley Way.

The REAL Madrid move up to third, 3 - 0 winners against Lone Rangers.

Angel Rrrrs drop to fourth after being held to a 1-1 draw at Corinthian Casuals.

At the bottom are three teams without a point. :-
               The KC Shuffle losing 1-0 against Naval and Military
                      Lone Rangers losing 3-0 at The REAL Madrid
       Didier Drogba Fan Club after a 4-0 home defeat against Jellybellies.

Other results today:-

Steve and I are in a private competition to see who can win The FL2 Runcible Spoon. The Shuffle won today, but I noticed Brian is mounting a Runcible challenge. ;) ;D 8)

Corinthian Casuals move onto third place after winning   1 - 0 agains Lone Rangers.

A Selecao Das Quinas down to fourth after Naval and Military held them to a 1-1 draw.

At the bottom:-

Ag's Loan Rangers now the strongest team (holding everyone up) .

Didier Drogba Fan Club move three points clear of the bottom with a 1 - 0 win against Aston Villains.

On the same number of points are CSI-Westgate on Sea joining the bottom three after losing 1-0 at The REAL Madrid.
