FL2 Season 66

All the results are now in  and all promotion/relegation places decided.

Congratulations to S.L.B Aguias won 2 - 0 against Didier Drogba Fan Club and became Champions on goal difference.

Hard luck to Aston Villains who were Champions elect until the seventy seventh minute when Corinthian Casuals equalised from a free kick and held on to deny the Champions place to the Villains.  Villains finish second on goal difference.

Congratulations to Angel Rrrrs who won my "match of the day" 6 - 0 against    Ogres and won the third promotion place.

So we say farewell to the promoted and the relegated teams I hope that you all have enjoyed this gripping season 66 and are looking forward to FL Season 67.

One bit of bragging on my behalf.  At the beginning of the season I predicted that the top three teams would be:-

Aston Villains
Naval and Military
Angel Rrrrs

As Meatloaf once said "Two out of three ain't bad"

Brian, well done keeping The Sunday League World informed about FL2 and the fun and games going on within. Lone Rangers shot themselves in the foot and hobbled through the rest of the season.
