We'll win the Premiership next season as long as we don't end up having a 4th season on the trot with ridiculous injuries. We averaged 7 or 8 injuries every week I think this season. Chelsea had 4 or 5 as their most injuries in one week I think. And I'm pretty sure that we broke a Premiership record during Van Gaal's first season. We had almost 90 injuries I think lol :o ;D

I'm beginning to think that someone has cursed us :o :o :o :-\

Decided to rename this thread to make it up to date lol ;D

Plenty of changes for United against Derby:

Romero

Lindelof Smalling Blind Shaw

Herrera Pogba

Mata Lingard Nicki

Radford

Should be enough to beat Derby but just like with Bristol Rivers in the League Cup they're a decent side so it's not going to be a walk over.

0-0 At half-time. United have dominated the game and have had the best chances but Derby are looking dangerous on the break here and there when they get a chance.

Lingard puts United 1-0 up with a cracking goal. Heroic defending and goalkeeping from Derby at times but there was nothing they could do against that. Pretty tough on Derby if they don't get a replay though, they deserve one imo.

Great work from Lukaku and Martial and Lukaku makes it 2-0, game over I think.

And that's it, final score 2-0. That's us through to the next round. 8)

We'll it's looking like Chelsea are continuing to struggle to get results. They only just beat the Canaries on penalties.

How long before Conte loses the dressing room...assuming that this hasn't happened already..?

And 2 red cards too.

Conte will be gone at the end of the season. Going to Real Madras, perhaps?

Ermmm.. didn't United get knocked out of the Carabollocks cup by Bristol City? ;D ;D

Anyway, it didn't really help that the referee was a colossal cunt last night.... using VAR to check that a corner (that definitely was a corner) was a corner... but don't bother using it on a penalty decision, that was a penalty - and actually book Willian instead.  As Shearer said - its a shambles.. VAR only works on things that are matter of fact (like offsides) - it doesn't work on things that are matter of opinion.. I think they should scrap the whole lot.. its a pile of wank.

What was most surprising last night anyway is that Chelsea actually scored all 5 of their penalties - I can't remember the last time they did that ;D

The difference is that Bristol City are one of the favourites to get promoted to the Premiership and Norwich are in the bottom half of the table. ;)

Theres 10 points between them in the table.. thats a smaller gap than there is between Man City and Man Utd at the moment. ;D

Anyway, this is comedy gold.. lemme just get what you said in perspective:

Beating Norwich on penalties is WORSE than losing to Bristol City in 90 minutes.

;D ;D ;D

Of course it's worse. Norwich are a poorer side than Bristol City.

Oops. Posted in the Premiership thread earlier by mistake. Yeovil are certainly making a game of it and are doing VERY well indeed so far. Green is causing us a few problems.

Radford has just put United a goal ahead. Terrible defending for the goal though. Yeovil deserve to go in level though.
