Tough loss last night David!
In my opinion now that pretty much hands Floriana the title, 7 points clear with 7 games to go.. Should be easy right?

I somehow find myself in a 3 way battle for 2nd place with David and Herbie, unsure how I clawed my way up there. That being said I seem to have scored the most and conceded the least in the division which could help me near the end if it gets any closer. I definitely have the tougher run in and also play DVG in a few days.

My aim was Top 6 but I'd take top 4!
Shame Delboy wasn't around this season.

I'm back now guys.  I went away for 6 days  golfing in Spain. I set up tactics for alll my matches before i went and set the holiday mode so I was hoping to see dome decent results when i got back  but just starting  to look at them now and it looks like  there have been a lot of heavy defeats.  Maybe people worked out I was away?   That assistant manger must be really bad.  I'll be fighting for a top 4 place though.

Looking at the tactics David it didn't even look like you did that badly. Maybe logging in/morale is more important than we think?

I haven't looked at it closely yet but at a quick glance i think that the Holiday Mode, assistant manger put players in the wrong substitute slots on the bench.. so  then when my pre arranged tactics and early substitutions kicked in i ended  up with players  out of position and it was badly out of position sometimes   e.g. goalies  as outfield players. 

I should have anticipated that  and not combined holiday mode with early substitutions.

The lowest I got Steve was when I found the bottom of a ravine.  Either that , or when I 4 putted after hitting the green in reg on the toughest hole on the course.

I'll be doing by best to give you a game Davy.  I know you woukdn't want it any other way, really.  I just hope my players can get over their 6 day holiday, not to mention their manager getting the fuzz and alcohol out of his brain.

You must have swallowed hard when you saw our result Davy and then had a big smile when you saw the table.  Super Imps beat Floriana to keep Anthony out and well deserved for you , i think.

I just saw that too, DVG's no-show has made it proper nail biter to the finish.

Do we do the TCL anymore as that is added incentive to grab a top 4 spot!
