1-1 full time, and I reckon Zlatan might have done some ligament damage right in the last minute. :( Looked NASTY :o

Extra time it is then. United REALLY should have finished them off in that second half.

What a fantastic game of football. United won 2-1 and are through to the Semi Final AET.

The first half was pretty even but the second half and both halves of Extra Time it was all United. It was only down to a defensive masterclass by their centre backs that we didn't score 4 or 5 :o

No official news yet but 'Sky Sources' reckon that Zlatan is out for the rest of the season, same with Rojo too I think.

Still can't believe that this is the THIRD season where we've been well and truly fucked over by injuries. :o

Leicester had things easy with injuries last season and the same can be said of Chelsea this season too. It seems to happen almost every year, the side with the least injuries tends to win the Premiership. :(

And there's me thinking the side that wins the most games typically wins the premier league, doh

It wasn't so long ago you were saying that United had the best squad in the league, a few injuries later and apparently not

And the side that has the least amount of injuries each season tends to win the most games.

And we've had more than 'a few injuries' for these last 3 seasons. If any other club had the injuries we've had for the last 3 seasons they wouldn't have done anywhere near as well as we've done. First of Van Gaal's seasons he got a top four place, last season we won the FA Cup and this season we've won the League Cup and are through to the Semi Finals of the Europa League.

I just can't believe we've been so unlucky AGAIN with injuries this season.

Just watch, the side with the least amount of injuries next season will win the Premiership. Hopefully it's going to be us because we're due a bit of luck with them after the last 3 seasons. :o

Therefore its logical to say that the side that has the most injuries tends to lose most games.. which is just as equally as bollocks.  Liverpool have the same amount of injuries as you at the moment (according to PhysioRoom) and they are above you in the table.. they also lost key players to the ACON earlier in the season.. so how does that one work then?

Uniteds net spend is something like £230m in the past 3 seasons and you're happy with 1 FA Cup and 1 League Cup LOL... it really is funny harv.  ;D ;D

That's just the amount of injuries at this current time, the red scouse gits have had plenty of injuries but we've had more throughout the season. And they're ahead, yes, but we've got two games in hand. You've also got to remember the amount of games we've had to play too (which also factors into the injury situation).

This season Chelsea have been VERY lucky with injuries, last season it was Leicester, the season before that it was Chelsea again, then Citeh then United. The amount of injuries that a club has is instrumental in whether a club wins the Premiership. Always has been, always will be.

And yes, I'm happy with winning those trophies because I know that ANY other club with the injuries we've had during these last 3 seasons wouldn't have won a thing. Hell, they would probably end up being mid table too.

Team news for United, 6 changes from Sunday:

Romero

Valencia Bailly Blind Darmian

Herrera Fellaini Pogba

Lingard Rashford Micki

Sampling is back on the bench, easing our defensive injuries at last :o

0-0 at halftime and United have been the better side by far. Their keeper has had a great game so far, hopefully it's only a matter of time before we convert one or more of these chances in the second half to give us a valuable away goal.

Looking like whoever goes through this Semi Final will play Ajax in the Final after they hammered Lyon 4-1 at home last night. Can't see them coming back from that.
