I have also noticed that a CPU Team will be promoted to 4-1-1 which is a shame.

If any manager reading this that wants a shot at the big time or a change of scenery into a tough division like ours then come and join on Day 1 of the new season.

Delboy's best friends "My Team" complete the line-up for the Conference 4 Cup so we are now 16/16.

This has got a Mixed Martial Farts v My Team final written all over it  8)

A good set of fixtures there. Most of the top half teams this season playing the lower half ones. Likely to be a couple of upsets with it being a knockout competition too, and a good chance for the up and coming teams to steal some early season silverware 8)

Good stuff as always with the comps and effort into the game Dan, your an asset to conference 4 mate :D










Ps, That wont exclude you from the spankings I will dishing out next season though ;D ;D ;D ;)

Thanks, I just try to keep it fresh and have a variety which I'm pretty sure everyone likes!

As for the spankings... We'll see  ;D

Anyone heard any whispers of who is interested in the 4-1-1 empty promotion spot?

Yep was surprised when I looked at the match report Alex, you had me for the vast majority of that match.

I know some people say the three subs thing doesn't work but imo it 100% makes a difference. I tried chopping to and from it for a while and did notice a big difference mate.

That's the only conclusion I can draw from that one :o

The main thing I noticed was from the 55th minute onwards when Wolfberry got their left back injured a Centre Back non anyside went into the left back slot (Out of position).
Most likely the reason for the 3rd goal and maybe the end result?

I quite fancy Ant in the cups.  Delboy is monotonusly good in the league but Ant seems to get out the special magic in the cup games.  He won the Elite Cup this season  and although he had an easy run  in that ( Winter Milan, Me  and both of Big Deal Dave's teams) my money is on Floriana  for the Conf 4 Cup.

I agree with that assessment Dave, minus the monotonous part  ;D

But seriously, I've always been more of a league guy, including PL's as well. I tend to be more consistent than pulling out results in the big cup matches.

My bets on whoever wins the match between you and Ant.

But I'll be giving it a damn good go of course.

A League and cup double would look good in the trophy cabinet   8)

First day of the season against he current champs  :o

Gotta play everyone at some point I guess, I was really hoping to play Delboy later on in the season when he needed some replacements so I had a better chance...I guess I’m parking the bus tomorrow now  ;)
