Ahhh unlucky mate been a good challenge all season!! Bit gutted I finished 2nd in the managers table second year running but well done Marv well deserved!if there's any consolation jt we are the only 2 managers unbeaten in the top 8 divisions, that's some sort of achievement right?!

I have 2 out of 3 of my Central Defenders injured so I have to play an attacking defender out of position tonight.
I looked at changing to 3-5-2 attacking, but realised my other striker is injured.
Well not quite. Not when you get 2 straight reds on pansy in the same min. That randomness could cost me heavily come end of season.That win I had in the end meant nothing then ;)

We will begin the long march to 6-1-1 , training and picking up new recruits on the way ready to attack some time this summer. Build a wall, do whatever ...cos we are coming and not in peace! The old team are just about dead now. Do the dead frighten you?
It's been a great season, and we've both done well to finish so far ahead of quality teams like Margate, Craiova and Im A Blade. Probably the strongest campaign I've had for the last 4 or 5 seasons. I'll be slightly annoyed if I manage to beat Margate tonight though. If I lose out by 1pt due to the Grays debacle it will be annoying, however, I should've set up before I went out so only have myself to blame!

3 teams league the way in 6-1-1, CSI-Margate, Red Star Knights and Steaua Sudului all start the season with impeccable records. 4th placed Park My Seagull are still in the running but will be disappointed with their goalless draw with lowly Bonkers FC. Im a Blade are 5th and have a 3pt advantage over 6th, 7th & 8th, with The Killers, Hunt Park Rovers and Ravens of England only separated by goal difference.
Still going to be a tight finish to this season I think. Myself, Steaua and Knights all have to play each other and you can never write off Blades or Margate, as well whether or not the several tricky customers of the division will have a say in the title race, who despite not having the strongest of squads in comparison, are all decent managers and capable of taking points off the top 5 or 6.
Just a shame that I messed up my tactics and my unbeaten first half of the season. It was a day at the beach drinking and fishing, followed by a long bike ride home, I didn't know whether I was drunk, had sunstroke, dehydrated but now can confirm it was a mixture of all three - really did make a hash of my tactics and still don't know how I managed to get the TA right and the squad selection wrong :-[ will need a perfect 2nd half of the season to come top of the pile I think!

My confidence in winning games is incredible low at the moment. I think I'm neglecting tactics and rely to much on team strength when I feel my squad is strong enough (over 780)
I'm saying this because my best results (champions shield trophy and elite cup runner up) came when the squad was in the developing stages (750-770) because back then I was focusing more on tactics.
Lesson to learn..
I switch between 4x Corners, 4x Free kicks, 4x defence and 4x Jogging. But when my midfielders are at 99 I eliminate free kicks or use it less often.
At this moment I rely heavily on defence and jogging because I have two new defenders.
Amazing season Nish. Think I'm right in saying you join Steaua in the invinicible club. You've just been too good this season. I've been very fortunate with injuries this season and had a full strength side all the way but couldn't quite get past the formidable Knights. Done my best to finish 3rd in a 2 horse race ;D ;D but luckily managed to stay 2nd.
Been great battles against you two and with other managers in the division - yet the title slip once again but no shame in missing out over the years to the likes of Red Star, Steaua & of course Univ Craoiva. 8)

So, the great macca, Monkey hangers FC, who was highly praised and welcomed by some, forecast to do great things, has gone AWOL and left his tactics in 90 minutes psycho. Killed my team for the season last night. one broken arm, out for 8 weeks, one broken leg, out for 12 weeks, two concussion, and one bruised shoulder out for 4 weeks. I think that I will have to drop my team out of 611 to a lower league for the time being.
Not at all happy with these so called "top players" who do this and he is not the only "top player" who has done it, yet when they come back, they are welcomed with open arms by some.

Your Red Knights is one of the best team in the game at the moment, Nish. I doubt it Steaua are the favourites to win in the final. I didn't win a game against you or Gull in the last two or three seasons.
I know I should change formation from 5-4-1 to 5-2-3/3-5-2/ 4-3-3 on muddy pitch or rainy weather, but I'm too lazy to do that so I suffer the consequences.

Tie of the round sees the leagues form teams lock horns. It's 1 vs. 2 and two-time winners (Steau) vs. two-time losers (Red Star). The winner will look forward to going all the way after this tie but lurking are Im a Blade who have beaten both this season in the league. Blades tie take on CSI-Margate in what promises to be a great cup tie and too close to call. The Killers take on Hunt Park, both teams would love a good cup run and World United take on Texas in the last time of the round in evenly contested matches if league form is to be beleived.

Currently got a defender over 40 I want to replace now with a under 23 defender that can play anywhere on the pitch so he can go RB when the time comes. There’s only been one good defender in the last 2 weeks, and I didn’t get him. Thankfully my defender is good for another 2 seasons, so no rush. I doubt he’ll improve much now though.

it's not too far back in the thread, he (i assume you're a he Catalin?) told me how he rotates his training. i was a bit too stuck previously on jogging and free-kicks. he suggested defence and sprinting too so since i mixed it up a bit and the stats needle moved ALOT :)
750 is very good for SWC4, it will pleateau a little in the 770s, and that's where creative training comes in

Kind of expected something like this may happen against one of you three, so I wasn't shocked to see how the tactics worked out.
I may off had TA but Brain's team is just stronger, it's just how it goes.
The injury could have had an impact looking at my LB's performance, but it could off been worse if I didn't do the sub glitch. Could off cost me the point if I hadn't done that in the first place.

I’ve not won any of the big majors in my visits back and forth from the game or a x-1-1 like you, I honestly think if you can keep the gap to 1 point with 3 games to go your favourite to win the league, i’d need some massive luck to stay top if that was the case. The league could change a lot by then.
I’ve still got some tough games to play, World United tonight who are my bogey team, Texas Oldham are a solid team and can take results of anybody in the league, the age of there team is similar to mine. That’s not to take anything away from the rest of the managers in the league too, everyone has the potential to take points of each other, but if they could take them of you Nish instead of me that would be great ;-)

Texas Oldham has been chasing down Steaua Sudului for one of their top 4 spots this season, the first encounter in the league saw Texas Oldham win 1-0. Previous Conference 6 Cup winners Steaua Sudului, will be looking for revenge as they try and re-claim the Conference 6 Cup.
The Blurred Crusade vs Hunt Park Rovers
Only one place and 3 points currently separates these two in Conference 6, and it is for the last ICC spot next season. The first fixture this season ended in a 0-0 draw, but that won't be good enough in the Conference 6 Cup, as we will find a winner between the two.
CSI-Westgate on Sea vs Lone Rangers
Brian has cheekily entered a Conference 7 team in the Conference 6 Cup ;). CSI-Westgate on Sea will be playing 6-1-4 leaders Lone Rangers in the only fixture of the Conference Cup Quarter-Finals not to feature two 6-1-1 teams.

Looking at the age of your team, I'd say they have a couple of title challenges in them coming up, before they need to be replaced.
I've been watching your race for the top 4 all season, and I still wouldn't call this season out of the question, as the gap isn't that big to overturn.
I'm happy with what you've done in this seasons title race this season though, ignore what Nish says, and get involved next season ;)

and thank you by the way. my white, rebel and purple are teams i tried to keep on 500c players only and so i enjoy the “struggle†with them, also why i don’t expect to win all 8 conferences, but the more the merrier. i think Craoiva did the same, but he was absolutely stellar in how he dominated wherever he went with his 500c (per player) team

Anyone who knows my thoughts of teams from other Conferences entering the Cups will realise this was an error and I can guarantee this will be a walkover for the C6 team because I will not setup for the game in any way.

I wish I had your patience with teams. I tried the 500 cr route in the past, but I got too annoyed to stick at it when a Team way stronger than mine beats me but I had them on tactics.
The results is probably fair, but I’m very competitive and stuff like that bruises my ego 😂.
I’m not a great trainer either, so it’s unlikely I can change them 500 cr players into World Beaters, it’s very impressive for the managers who can do that though, I would love to know what their training programmes are.

No disrespect is meant to the other teams in the league by this, but if I got to choose between the end run of fixtures between the two of us, I would choose your set of games. I feel like this is your title to lose now in my opinion, but It seems like you need something in your mindset though about not being favourite to take the pressure of yourself though...I like that ;-)

Gotta admit I wasn't even expecting to challenge for the title when I first got promoted, the goal was a top 4 finish to qualify for the TCL next season. Nish made this title race amazingly tense this season, with a lot of banter along the way, and I've really enjoyed it. I'm sure Nish will be back next season to try and reclaim his title, it should be another exciting race. :)

Getting long term injury, after long term injury at the minute, the last 4 games have seen me get atleast one player with atleast a 6 week injury. Makes it a right ballache to set up at the minute ::)
I thought it might off had something to do with the striker I bought towards the end of last season. But the whole getting ‘stronger’ thing could be right...can only imagine it’s to slow the players development down or something like that? 🤷🏻â€â™‚ï¸. After getting my 15th injury last night (only a 4 weeker, I'm so blessed) I thought I'd look at my strongest 11's team strength, and it's only 767, nowhere near the strongest on the game and I'm going to have 4 of them need replacing by the end of the season.

Last time I lost was on the last day of my first season here against Catalin 1-0, back in November. So it is 58 games. Would love to make it 2 complete seasons in a row though.
I noticed, his team needs almost a complete rebuild if he comes back anyway now, would be a while til he was competitive again. Hope he comes back one day though, would be a great addition to C6.

My team is pretty strong for a couple of seasons now, currently at 791 in 4-5-1 formation(I think this is a record for me). Hopefully this could help and compensate the lack of skills of the manager :)

This games mechanics are so clever ??? the game gives me a red card in the 71st minute, it then gives him a goal instantly knowing I’m going to change to beat his tactics straight after his goal, so gives me a goal instantly knowing 3 minutes later he was going to change tactics to beat me to give him a goal, none of that is coincidence. The game knew that if I had got 75 minutes, which was 4 minutes away, and that red card hadn’t happened, I was about to win on tactics and win the game(probably). I know Beckham has a better team than me, but the game knew it had to send me off before 75 minutes so I’d change to defensive when he scored to set up his win for his attacking after 75, you can see it all unfold in my game, it’s so scripted it’s crazy, and then that loss to Gull was a little hard to take, this game is tough to take at times.
I love the game, hence I come back, sometimes I will vent but it will never be at another manager, just the game. Sorry for the negativity. Seeing Gull at the top and having a game tonight when the guy has 1 keeper who is injured is really stressing me out hahaha

Doesn't help with village idiot Monkey Hangers psychoing teams which takes the enjoyment out, but there's always one isn't there. Hopefully the league we have now (minus the clown) stays as it is as it's become a really competitive conference.
So, the great macca, Monkey hangers FC, who was highly praised and welcomed by some, forecast to do great things, has gone AWOL and left his tactics in 90 minutes psycho. Killed my team for the season last night. one broken arm, out for 8 weeks, one broken leg, out for 12 weeks, two concussion, and one bruised shoulder out for 4 weeks. I think that I will have to drop my team out of 611 to a lower league for the time being.

Title race for 6-1-1 hotting up with Acorn Raiders leading the way, with United World just behind in 2nd. Would've loved to challenge for the title but it seems some teams remember to set up against me and not others! All part of the game I guess...... 😃

Been a good end to the season and with My Lovely Horse looking dead and buried a while ago they've got every chance of sneaking into first right at the very end.

Getting interesting at the top of 6-1-1 then with ITALIANO nipping infront. Tougher run in than Acorn Raiders though so Anthony will still fancy his chances.

Yeah il take being too for a night haha, I have a couple of difficult games to get past yet, including you Gull ;D if I manage to grab a draw against you, then beat Acorn raiders in the game after il be confident, but right now I don’t fancy my chances! I would absolutely love to win the league though in my first season in 6-1-1, that would be massive for me! ;D

That game where I lost 12-1 to Grays has really cost me this season, I'd be top on goal difference as it stands.
I think a win for Acorn Raiders against ITALIANO may just be enough for the title - great end to the season though. 8)
Many of Acorns top players are either in decline or nearing decline. Will be interesting to see if they can stay competitive next season
