Oh yeah,  I've been using these leagues to try stuff as well Dave it won't be for another 3 seasons until my team can realistically challenge. Was just an interesting observation Realale Madrid have been using it I've noticed and I can't get near him so far so maybe it's the way forward.

Bit concerned about how I'm performing at the moment some of my players fitness is awful even though I'm rotating them. Think I need to give them a kick up the ass.

Half ways through the season and Homestead and Old Bad Luck are seven points clear of the chasing pack. Seven points clear with seven games to go, can anyone of the chasing pack come with a late run to close the gap?

All my good work getting back in contention undone by fielding an AWOL player by mistake. How frustrating.

Competition has done what was it set out to do in teaching a few of us newer members a lesson or two! Such as sloppy team set up. Too be fair, I'm on the mother of post-stag weekend comedowns.  :'(

I'm really enjoying this competition, nice to beat one of the top two today as well. I am normally at the bottom of most private leagues but am able to be competitive in this one.

Three wins on the bounce for me, might have done enough to secure third place. The top two keep winning so I won't win my first private league but third a much higher than I normally finish.

All over today, I finished 3rd, the highest I have ever finished in a private league. I am quite pleased with that.

Thanks for organising what was a very enjoyable league.

Yeah I'd back it if I've got less fixtures by the time it starts

Yeah congrats Homestead Garth. Took the lead after week one and no looking back.

Happy to go again - perhaps at the end of the season as a pre-season gelling league?
