Which conference to leap to ??

Hello everybody,

I'm down in Conf 1 - League 2 - Div 4 - North

It's too far away from the top echelons in line with my squad improvement plan!

So, I'm planning on hopping a few leagues once this season has completed.  Probably into a X-1-2 or 3

Any recommendations for which conference to choose ?

Seriously though Conference 3 is the one to join, it's where a lot of the 'new' teams have gone which has made for a very even and competitive top division. All the others are dominated by one or two of the big boys, which may be a more appealing challenge to you?

It's (usually) a great place for banter too, and is definitely the most active thread for discussion.

Hi Globus,

I was faced with the same scenario this time last season and asked plenty of managers for their opinion. While gathering these opinions to help formulate your own decision, my advice would be to go to the conference that’s going to give you the right challenge. It really does depend what your looking for. For example, I wanted to join a conference that was quite competitive and had an active forum thread with plenty of banter - conference 3 certainly has all of this at the moment 

If this is for you then conference 3 or 4 maybe. If you want to go to a quieter conference then you will be able to tell just by looking at the forum history. If you don’t mind about forum activity and want to try and break the dominance by some of the most successful managers in the game then you may need to look no further than where you are in conference 1. Rich’s Super Imps are very consistent and Flashearts are another top team in this conference. This is purely just my observation and other managers with more experience may be able to provide a better summary.
