Congratulations to the DidierDrogbaFanClub who not only clinch promotion but win the title as well with a 1-0 win at The REAL Madrid.

Second place FC Town of Luton draw 1 - 1 against Oi Prasinoi.

Still third place on goal difference West End Girls shared a goalless draw at The Rumour Mill.

Sporting Messi FC keep fourth place, four point's behind the third place and lost   2-0 against Ogres.

The REAL Madrid are now seven points from safety at the bottom.

Corinthian Casuals are five points from safety after losing 1-0 at Corkscrew.

The Delhi Dilemma drop into the bottom three,  two points from safety.

Three games to go.  Champions DidierDrogbaFanClub maintain their thirteen point lead but second place FC Town of Luton open up a two points lead over third place West End Girls.  Ogres take over fourth place, four points short of the top three.


DidierDrogbaFanClub won 1-0 at Sporting Messi FC.

FC Town of Luton won 1-0 against  FC Basel.

West End Girls were held to a 1-1 draw at bottom place West End Girls who are now eight points from safety.

The other two teams in the bottom three shared a goalless draw and Corinthian Casuals are six points from safety while The Delhi Dilemma are just three points from safety.

Two games to go and the top three have a little wobble.

Champions DidierDrogbaFanClub share a goalless draw at Corinthian Casuals.

Second place FC Town of Luton lost 2-1 against The Rumour Mill and still need four points  to be certain of promotion.

Third place West End Girls failed to take advantage and were held to a goalless draw at The Delhi Dilemma.

Fourth place  Ogres move to only two points off the top three with a 1-0 win at CSI-Westgate on Sea.

Sporting Messi FC in fifth place are still in with a chance of promotion after a 1-0 win at Oi Prasinoi and are just three points off the top three.

There is still no one relegated yet, bottom of the table The REAL Madrid won 2-0 at FC Basel and are five points from safety.

Corinthian Casuals are also five points from safety.

The Delhi Dilemma are two points from safety.

Corkscrew are two points above the relegation zone after losing 2-0 against Wizards FC.

Oi Prasinoi are three points above the relegation zone.

Rebel Rovers are four points above the relegation zone and shared a 1 - 1 draw with Subgenius.

One Game to go and as usual in FL2 it's the day we find out ALL the promotion/relegation decisions.

Champions DidierDrogbaFanClub won 1-0 at FC Basel and now lead by fifteen points.

West End Girls move into second place after a 3-0 win at CSI-Westgate on Sea.

FC Town of Luton are down to third, two points behind after losing 1-0 against Sporting Messi FC who still have a chance of promotion.

Fourth place Ogres are now level on points with FC Town of Luton but have a slightly inferior goal difference.

 Sporting Messi FC are fifth only one point short of the top three.

Final day's fixtures for those hoping for promotion are:-

   Corkscrew   vs    West End Girls
   FC Town of Luton   vs    The REAL Madrid
   Corinthian Casuals   vs    Ogres
   FC Basel   vs    Sporting Messi FC

At the bottom:-

Corinthian Casuals are relegated after being held to a 1 - 1 draw by Wizards FC.

The REAL Madrid are one point from safety after winning 1-0 at Rebel Rovers who are three points above the bottom three.

The Delhi Dilemma drew 2 - 2 with The Rumour Mill and are one point short of safety.

Corkscrew lost 1-0 against Subgenius and need to win their last game to be sure to avoid the drop.

Oi Prasinoi lost 1-0 against Ogres and are two points above the bottom three.

Here we are at the end of FL2 Season 71.

All has been decided, we now know all the promotion and relegation positions.

It is Congratulation's to Champions  DidierDrogbaFanClub who won their last game 2-0 at Oi Prasinoi.

FC Town of Luton finished runners up on goal difference with a 1 - 0 win against relegated The REAL Madrid.

West End Girls finished third on goal difference after being held to a 1-1 draw at Corkscrew and this point earned by Corkscrew saved them from relegation.

Sporting Messi FC just missed out on promotion even after a 2-0 win at FC Basel.

Corinthian Casuals finished bottom although their 1 - 1 draw against Ogres could have cost Ogres a promotion place.

The Delhi Dilemma are the final relegated team even though they finished up with a 1 - 1 draw against  Subgenius.

So, once more it is congratulations to the promoted sides and commiserations to the relegated sides for this season.

Time to put my pen away for a rest until we have the start of FL2 Season 72 .

Looking forward to that.  Hope you all are looking forward to that as well.
