You don't need to buy Fellaini you just get someone to blow on his head and all the little Fellaini seeds will fly off and create new ones.

Our pre-season tour came to an end today with a 3-0 win against a Thailand XI after beating Melbourne Victory 2-0 and an Indonesia XI 4-0. Nice to have 3 clean sheets and a few goals but the real work will probably start after Stevie's testimonial against Olympiacos as we get closer to the big day!  ;D

Pre season friendlies and tournaments mean shit about the new season........they are what they are, a friendly to get players fit and try to find/hone a formation or group of formations with the players. Even though no team wants too lose, it means tiddly squat about the new season.................................look at the Premier Asia Cup, after Spurs easily lost 3-1 to Sunderland, Man City beat South China 1-0, only for Spurs to put 6 goals past South China, and City beat Sunderland in the final by only 1 goal.

P.S I'm hoping you've realised it was a Youth team friendly...The first team spanked Crewe 5-1 on friday night.

Yeah, as if you won't be bragging about the Abramovich era in 20 years time... ::)

Besides, we've won more major trophies, have a richer history, and were a massive part of the roots of English football. You could argue in many respects that Chelsea may not even have existed without teams like the Villa paving the way for professional football in this country...Chelsea were a spec before Roman and his millions came to the forefront...You got extremely lucky that he chose your club to plough his fortunes into, because there's no way you'd have won the amount of stuff you have without that money.

Say what you want about Villa, we've won trophies over periods of time where money hasn't been a massive influencing factor on success...We might not have won much recently, but who has in the monopolisation of 21st century professional football?

0-3 to United at halftime, goals from Welbeck, Smalling and Fabio. Very poor opposition, could have had twice as many goals at least. Adnan coming on at halftime, think that Moyesie may be thinking about bringing him through if we don't manage to buy another attacking midfielder.

Adnan with his first goal as a first team player makes it 0-4. Will be disappointed if we don't get another 3 at least.

Omfg, another quality goal from Kitchee makes it 2-4 :o

Oh well, keeps the crowd happy lol :P ;D

We lost a bit of attacking prowess when Zaha moved from the right wing into the middle I think. He's still pretty good in the middle but diagonal runs from a player running inside towards the goal are always a bigger threat to defenders than a run through the middle.

Woah! Another cracking goal from Lingard, his fourth on this tour, makes it 2-5. Van Persil on for Zaha.
