They had to get all the dlc finished before they could do a GOTY - and that was hampered by the problems on the ps3 version.
Pretend I have a cool signature thing here.
I did, but the host site died and I can't be arsed to find an alternative right now...

Ah, that explains it.

Latest rumours about the 720 are that Microsoft's first party developers are around 6 months behind schedule and that of the two SKUs being released the $299 SKU will need people to commit to a Gold subscription of $15 per month for 2 years :o

I think Microsoft have gone insane tbh :-\

They're also throwing money at third parties for exclusive games...no surprise there lol.

Just out of interest...anyone who plays/has played Skyrim...what race were you? And what skills did you focus on?

I'm an Imperial focusing on Heavy Armor, Two Handed for close combat and Archery for ranged. Not really invested in anything else yet.

I was a cat, just cos he looked cool. Specialised in one handed and magic. The wife was an archery expert, so useful to have around - and gave me free training which was a nice boost.
I'm a hoarder so always had loads of materials - so naturally ended doing quite a bit of smithing, and then enchanting my wares - so those skills ended up high too (and made me loads of money).

Elf, think i was a dark elf in fact. Archery is maxed, then one handed and magic in the other, usually fire. Think you've maybe convinced me to fire it up today. I was doing lots of side quests rather than the main story. My companion is awesome, she was part of the cannibal sect, she's a class fighter and sorceress. Oh yeah in my spare time Im also a werewolf

I got married to Mjoll the other day then thought it would be fun to kill her after I saved it. But she wouldn't die and kept getting back up. So does that mean I could take her on quests and she would never be killed?

Should probably switch the 360 on soon.. havent done so for a while... might buy Bioshock this week, that will force me to... been too busy playing Football Manager.. just got Basingstoke into the Premier League lol... got to the final of the league cup before being squashed 4-0 by citeh as well.  Thats 5 promotions in 9 seasons with 3 of them being champions.. but only one cup trophy so far.

Have just picked up a code for the Alpha copy of Arma 3 though.. so I do want to give that a go tonight!

9 minutes of footage from Shadow of The Eternals, the spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness. Could be Wii U footage too, because the button prompts appear to belong to the GamePad, although I'm going to wait for official confirmation though. If that is Wii U footage rather than PC footage then we're looking at the first true 'next gen' looking title from a third party developer.

Looking fantastic, particularly the lighting and tesselation. 8)

Wow.. just read a bit more on the new Wolfenstein and it sounds excellent -

Quote
Set in the 1960s, the new game will feature series mainstay B.J. Blazkowicz, who will once again battle the evil forces of Nazi Germany. But there’s a twist - in this version of the 60s, the Nazis won World War II and have gone on to create some sort of insane robot super army. Alternate historical timeline FTW!

Wolfenstein sounds right up my street, alternate timelines with the Germans winning WWII hasn't been done enough in telly, films or video games enough for me personally. ;D

I downloaded Far Cry 3 : Blood Dragon last night.. twas expensive at 1200.. but looks so good...

And Doritos Crash Course 2 was free.. so thought I'd grab that too...

Didnt get round to playing them though..  I tried re-starting my progress on Resident Evil 5 but gave up after 15 minutes.. I left myself with absolutely zero ammo for the start of chapter 3:1 (Marshes) - I will definitely go back to it.. but when I have a bit more time.. its gonna take a while to get past that first bit without losing too much life.    ;D
