Runcible Spoon at Christmas

Jellybellies go six out of six defeats. Today they saw off Runcible rival DVG Stars to stay in Runcible Spoon position. Betty Swollocks move into Runner's up position with just one point after six games. The Reigning Champs, Rathpeacon move into 14th with five losses. Touchplay are in 13th, again with five losses.

At the top end of the Table Harricam still have a one point lead. The Seg, The Shuffle and Floriana are all poised to strike, from one point back.

After seven games Jellybellies are still going strong with seven defeats. Betty Swollocks maintain their title challenging form after still only one draw. Rathpeacon remain just outside the prizes with only three points.

Floriana take over at the top of the table. Only five points separate 1st to 8th places

No change in The three Teams at The Top of The Table. Same at The Runcible Spoon competition. Big games tomorrow, in The Spoon. Rathpeacon V Jellybellies and Betty Swollocks v Touchplay

After a very big game today against The Reigning Champion Rathpeacon, Jellybellies pulled off another loss to remain in Runcible Spoon position. Their record of defeated in every game has to be admired. Remaining in Second are Betty Swollocks after losing again. This time to Touchplay. Jelly and Betty play on Sunday...watch this space. Rathpeacon and The Luddites both have six points each. Both needing to really dig up their worse form from here on in. DVG Stars have six points and Touchplay nine points. They really need Jelly and Betty to lose their form and start winning a few games.

At The Top end of The Table Floriana FC lead by two points and The Seg move into second. Harricam drop into third. Brian's Westgate are two points back in fourth

Tomorrow looks like D-Day in the competition for The Runcible spoon

Today was the day to see if Jellybellies could keep themselves firmly in the driving seat in the quest for The Runcible spoon. If Betty Swollocks managed to gain a defeat they would take over at the bottom/top of trying to win The Spoon. Well this competition delivered the goods as the teams fought out a magnificent 17-17 draw. Jellybellies still in Pole Position with Betty Swollocks one point back. However in third from bottom are Rathpeacon who are now only five points away from getting their hands back on the spoon.

At the Top end of The Table Floriana dispatched Harricam and sent them tumbling from second to fourth place. The Seg move into second place whilst CSI. Westgate nip into third place.

There is a long way to go in both competitions but it looks like its a battle between The Jellybellies and Betty Swollocks for The Runcible Spoon. However it can change in the blink of an eye if any or both of these teams pick up unwanted points.

At The top of The Table Floriana are tightening their grip on this title....

It's still all eye's on Jellybellies and Betty Swollock's. DVG Star's are doing their best to get in the mix even losing out in other competition's they Star in. Rathpeacon gain and drop points today and they need some good losses to put pressure on the bottom three.

At the Top of The Table Floriana are top followed by The Seg. These teams will be difficult to shift out of the top two.

nice game alright, it's a real runcible spoon tie, that's what makes this competition so different.

Could not agree more but have to add that there is a choice of competition's. The Spoon or the Top of The Table competition. As the competition progress's it's easier to see which competition your competitor for the day is playing in. Or is it? If your not doing well in either competition there is nothing in the rules that says you can't start to try winning or losing games as the case may be.

Maybe now's the time for Double Think or Double Speak Tactic's. Reverve the flow. If your not in contention either end of the league then maybe try something different..Why not...Could be fun....Confusing....

No change in either of the competitions. The Runcible Spoon looks set to go to either The Jellybellies or Betty Swollocks. Unless some teams want to change their outlook and see if they can lose some games. These mid table teams could influence both ends of the table by chopping and changing tactics depending who the opposition is.

At the Top end of the table Floriana and The Seg look to be immovable from first and second places.

In the battle for The Runcible Spoon Jellybellies still lead after only having one point. Up until today Betty Swollocks had two points. But today DVG Stars managed to win their game with The Swollocks and add three points to to the Swollocks total. So now the Swollocks have five points and DVG have seven points. Therefore the battle for the Runners up spot now has some intensity.

At the Top end of The Table Floriana and The Seg still hold all the cards.

i was glad to be even more rubbish than the Swollocks today.  It took a lot of effort and even had to miss my rehab session last night.  Jellybeliies really take the biscuit, though.
I think the Stars and the Swollocks should go on a pub crawl before we play them
