Should the Elite Cup be renamed the Terry Ricketts Cup

Just an idea.

Though I don't play the game really anymore, it seems fitting. Or maybe a new competition set up under that name.

Perhaps somebody could suggest this to Junior.

Not sure if this is possible. But an FA cup style tournament, where every team in the game is entered, would be a great way to remember Terry. It would also add some new competition to the game with such a tournament.

i think someone mentioned earlier about maybe renaming the server cup? no idea if it can be done but i think something along those lines would be a very fitting tribute to the man

The Server Cup should be renamed. It is a regular high status competition. 8)

Sounds like a good idea to me. Will have to see if we can do the same over on SL2.

The Elite Cup name won't be changed. There are no plans to upgrade SL1 I suspect. Why upgrade when you have SL2 the newer version??

As for renaming the Server Cup. That can be done. I can do that the next time I open it. Not sure how much it will effect the history pages of the people who have won it. Never tried it. I haven't open it for a long time because I don't have the ability to send the message out to every manager (one of them green servermessages). Terry used to do that for me  :(

Can you expand upon "There are no plans to upgrade SL1 I suspect." Is that you making that statement with, or without, discussion with the powers that be?  :) 8)
