Your most welcome! Honestly any time  8)

I thought you'd got a few red cards or something when I logged on thismorning! Just spot on with tactics.. not often I get 90 mins advantage in a game, so I'm glad I made the most of it!

Let's just hope that's a step towards getting my foot in the final!

You done well considering Marv, could be a tough one tonight without them though..

It's funny how the injuries and awol's creep up at the worst possible times. I went about a quarter of the season without any to getting about 5 or 6 in succession. Over them now thankfully, touch wood it stays that way..

Good luck tonight Marv.

I was on PTV and PTV2. And Mogzilla.

And they were all very well filled.

I was on the talksport server, there wasn't many of us, I think around 90, there's still a few on here now.

The merger was about early 2009 I think. I left the game for a few years after it closed.

I seem to remember the PTV servers (with many others) closing and our lot went to Mogzilla (I think) which then closed and everyone left ended up on Smokey --- where I've been for 51 and a bit seasons (however long that has been?).  I do vaguely remember the early days on SL --- sneaking out of my cot to use the desktop PC (bought from a shop in Tottenham Court Road that was open for all of one month) while my parents were out robbing Post Offices (to be fair they gave what they stole to old and sick horses. Although my dad always said he never realised they were old and sick until it was too late).

And soon we will be just a dozen or so lonely (and older) folk playing in one conference knowing that when that one bulb left at CG headquarters finally goes pop we will be alone in a world with no SL. A sadder, duller world (sobs quietly) --- yet with so many more hours of free time in which to investigate the world that exists away from the internet.

I was on the Man United server from 2003 to 2005.  It was absolutely full and they opened a second server called Man United 2.  Also, that was at a  time when Arsenal and Man United were the two main contenders in the Premier League.  We had an influx of Arsenal supporters on the server to provide  some banter so I also went on to the Arsenal server to see if I could win there.  I think that became my better team..probabaly due to my motivation to stick one up the Arsenal.

As good as the Man United and Arsenal servers were they were not as competitive  as Smokey and Mogzilla which were almost impossible to get a team on. I did eventually find a space on Smokey but the standard was so high that I couldn't get promoted from the lower divisions and gave up after about 2 seasons.

I was in "Oscar" for a good few years with spiteri ages ago. Had a blast on that server and was always full. At least 20 pl's going on at any one time, top teams having to play in fl2.. transfer market was incredibly busy and conferences strong all the way down to x-1-4s

Times have changed but game still produces that hit of nostalgia I crave  8)
