Rathpeacon   3-0    Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs   
Big shock here as Rathpeacon turned league form on it's head to knock out the defending champions.

Saiyan Warriors   1-0    Texas Oilers   
Tight and tense tie here, Saiyan scored just after the break to progress.

Black Star Knights   2-0    Wizards 
The tie of day didn't disappoint. A goal in each half was enough for Black Star. 

Dynamo Valley   0-3    Hoarse Whisperers   
Hoarse showed their class with a solid three goal win here.

Dirtbox United   3-11   The Chocolatiers  
Entertaining tie here with goals aplenty. Chocolatiers scored more and go through.

CSI-Ramsgate   7-1   Great Yarmouth Town
Very impressive performance by CSI today. Could this be their season to win a first cup?

Sandford St Martin   27-0    Filler Team One   
All too easy for Sandford agaisnt the filler team. Tougher challenges lie ahead.

Kilcully   32-0    We Play Like Girls
Non event in this one.

CONFERENCE 3 CUP QUARTER FINALS

No preview as the forum was broken but here are the reports:


Kilcully   0 - 2    Sandford St Martin   
Sandford were always on top in this one and will rue a hatful of missed chances. However a goal in each half was enough for a comfrtable win.

The Chocolatiers   0 - 4    CSI-Ramsgate   
A second big cup win for CSI who dominating this cup tie with 70% possession. Two goals in either half was more than enough.

Rathpeacon   2 - 1    Hoarse Whisperers   
Second cup shock for Rathpeacon this season. Both teams had 21 shots and shared possession 51 to 49. Rathpeacon struck in extra time to reach the semi finals.

Black Star Knights   3 - 0    Saiyan Warriors
Black Star will be favourites to win a first cup and maybe a league and cup double after a quality performance. Saiyan worked hard but resistance crumbled in the second half.

CONFERENCE 3 CUP SEMI FINALS

Sandford St Martin   vs    CSI-Ramsgate   
Two teams enjoying excellent seasons meet in semi final one. Sanford are currently 6th in 3-1-1 and are on course for one of their best seasons ever. CSI are 3rd in 3-1-1 and still have an outside chance of winning the league title. Neither side has won the cup before, this one will be tight but the bookies have made CSI the slight favourites.

Black Star Knights   vs    Rathpeacon
Black Star are having a tremendous season. They currently lead 3-1-1 on goal difference and are one game away from a cup final. Rathpeacon are having one of their worst seasons ever, struggling to finish in the top 8 of 3-1-1 and relegated from FL1. However, they've taken two big scalps already in the cup this season, could they take a third? The bookies say no

I'd love to see you win a cup title too, also be nice to see Brian win it with CSI, he's come close once or twice. Would not begrudge Sandford a cup, he is the most improved team in 3-1-1.

Of course, I'd prefer to win myself more

Rathpeacon levelled with 8 minutes to go to take the tie to extra time. Black Star scored one minute into extra time to reach a deserved final.
