C3 cup semi finals

Two high quality semi finals today as 4 of the top 6 from 3-1-1 meet.



Rathpeacon   vs    CSI-Ramsgate   
5th plays 6th here and just one point seperates these two sides in 3-1-1. Both have beaten each other once in their two league games. This one may need extra time.

Hoarse Whisperers   vs    Great Yarmouth Town
2nd v 3rd and again, just one point between these two sides in the league. As in the other tie, both of these have beaten each other in the league this season. Expect this one to be very close, possibly a goalless draw with extra time needed.

Two good games today with the two home teams coming through.

Rathpeacon had most of the possession but took 71 minutes to break the deadlock before adding a second late on.

Hoarse Whisperers   2-0   Great Yarmouth Town
Hoarse dominated this one, a goal in each half was enough. Can they drive on now and win a possible double?

Some dramatic results last night, Brian's CSI held Hoarse to a scoreless draw. Parma Violets are almost champions  :)

I moved into fourth after a rare win over Wizards. We are level on points now. I play Liverbird tonight so that's a no game 3-0 win for me. Wizards play MMMRs. If Wizards can make a big score, they will take 4th.

Good luck to both Mihai and Nijinsky in tonight's Elite Cup Final. Great to see a major coming back to C3 again this season!

May the game be decided in normal time without any random ET goals . . . .

Well done to Parma Violets on winning the C3 title. The top team in C3 are amongst the very best in the game and winning the title is an impressive achievement.

Just want to say well done to Wizards too who won 13-0 last night to snatch 4th place from me by one single goal. TEL for me again next season  :)

Rathpeacon   vs    Hoarse Whisperers
The last two teams to win the cup meet in what should be a very interesting final. C3 kingpins Hoarse Whisperers will be the favourites, they finished 13 points ahead of Rathpeacon in the league however they did each record one win over each other in the league.
Both sides have won the cup on three occassions. Who will land their 4th cup?

Great season all. Hopefully another corker next season. One or two good teams coming up, hopefully Nish returns with his Black Stars full time. Could be any of 6 of us winning it next season!

I tipped Mihai to do the business this season, and I tip them to do the same next! I hope he doesn’t mind me saying, but it does look like it’s all or bust this season for Great Yarmouth!
