I remember that we used to this a while ago; effectively you add up all of the stats on your training analysis page (go to training, then underneath where you select corners, jogging etc there's a box - select starting 11). Add all of these figures up and it should come to a number between 600-799.
We used to see which team had the best overall rating each season, it was normally Lagerfield etc but it made it interesting to see which team actually had the best rating and whether they were the dominant team on the server at the time.
I thought it could be an interesting stat that we could include in the Hall of Fame: Top ranked team of all time. Obviously no need to do that if it doesn't take anyone's interest, I just thought it could be something different for the forum as opposed to always talking about results.
