FL1 - Three Way Go At Top

Super Imps moved to the top of the division after they saw all their nearest challengers draw their games. Super Imps defeated The Seg 1-0. Jellybellies are 2nd on goal difference after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villains. The Flashhearts drop down to 3rd on goal difference after they were held to a goalless draw by Hoarse Whisperers. Floriana FC failed to capitalise on those above after they too were held to a 1-1 draw by Winter Milan. Oi Prasinoi can be relegated tomorrow after they were narrowly beaten by Angel Rrrrs 1-0.


FL2 - Kilda Select Promotion

DVGStars relentless assault on the division continued today after they defeated Exodus 1-0, they can be promoted tomorrow. St Kilda Select moved into 2nd after an impressive 3-0 win over promotion contender Right Enuff to see them move 5 points clear of 4th. Fools Utd make up the promotion places 5 points clear of 4th despite being held to a goalless draw by relegation threatened Corinthian Casuals. Despite all looking lost yesterday Didier Drogba FanClub still fancy it despite being 9 points back after battling past Subgenius today 1-0. The Huckley Way are also 9 points back after they saw off Team Georgia Mayajay 1-0.


FL3 - Basel Six Of The Best Takes Top Spot

FC Basel moved to the top of the division after a comprehensive 6-1 win over strugglers Callums Liverpool. Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs lost top spot after being stunned by Betty Swollocks XI 2-1 to now sit 2nd on goal difference. Betty Swollocks XI win did their survival hopes a power of good as they are now 8 points clear of the relegation zone. The KC Shuffle moved to within a point of the lead after they defeated relegation threatened The Delhi Dilemma 2-0. Aten Warriors are 4th after they defeated promotion hopeful Romasexuals 1-0 to remain 5 points back of the promotion places. Surreal Madrid kept their slim promotion hopes alive after they defeated Ogres 2-0, the result sees them both sit 6 points out of the promotion spots.


FL4 - Shakhtar Show Spirit

Shakhtar Senseless remain 4 points clear at the top of the division after defeating promotion hopeful Stow Wanderers 2-1. Harricam Wanderers are 2nd after defeating The Negative Amigos 2-0. The Cricketers had no trouble today as they defeated Totton Saints 5-0 to sit 4 points clear of 4th. A Selecao Das Quinas kept the pressure on those above as they defeated Rathpeacon 2-0. england slim promotion hopes remain after they defeated Rebel Rovers 4-0 to remain 7 points back of the promotion places.


FL5 - Touch Cant Play As Sixers Take Spoils

Clayton Royals moved 10 points clear at the top of the division after a comfortable 4-0 victory over Box To Box. Their nearest challengers The Blurred Crusade and Wolfberry Tornadoes battled out a 2-2 draw to see them 5 and 2 points clear of 5th respectively. The Tumbling Sixers moved back into the promotion places after defeating fellow promotion hopeful Touchnplay 2-0 to move 2 points clear of their opponent who drops down to 5th. Republic of Leeds slim promotion hopes remain after they saw off Hunt Park Rovers 2-1 to see them sit 7 points back of the promotion places.

FL1 - Same Old Same Old

With 6 games remaining there's a familiarity at the top of the division as local rivals Super Imps and The Flashhearts are level on goal difference. Super Imps caused the first casualty of the campaign after they relegated Oi Prasinoi winning 3-0. The Flashhearts had to work somewhat harder as they battled past Old Fullerians AFC 1-0. Floriana FC still look an imposing figure 2 points back after they defeated The Seg 2-0. Jellybellies suffered a severe setback to their title hopes after they were humbled 3-0 by Univ Craoiva to drop to 3 points behind the leaders.


FL2 - Goalless Draw Doesn't Dampen Stars Promotion Party

DVGStars were promoted today after a stunning season, today however they were held to a goalless draw by promotion chasing Right Enuff which looks to have ended their promotion aspirations. There were wins for 2nd place St Kilda Select 2-0 over relegation threatened Sporting Messi FC and for 3rd place Fools Utd 2-0 against Didier Drogba FanClub which sees both teams comfortably ensconced in the promotion places 7 points clear of Right Enuff. At the bottom White hart lane are virtually guaranteed safety after they defeated The Rumour Mill 2-0.


FL3 - Piggy In The Middle

FC Basel maintained their title charge today after a fine 2-0 win over a stubborn Ravens of England side. Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs continue in 2nd on goal difference following an impressive 3-0 victory over Westgate On Sea. The KC Shuffle make up the top 3 just 1 point back after a solid 2-0 victory over The Real Madrid. Aten Warriors wont let sleeping dogs lie however as they kept the pressure on the top 3 5 points back of 3rd after an impressive display defeating Ogres 2-0.


FL4 - Cricketers Overcome Tough Test In Liege Match

With the top 3 domination of the division over recent days, the promotion picture looks a lot clearer. Shakhtar Senseless virtually ended any promotion hopes of SLB Aguias battling past them by their favourite scoreline 1-0 to remain 4 points clear at the top of the division. Harricam Wanderers remain in the title hunt despite a nervy performance sneaking past The Rhubarb Triangle 1-0. In form The Cricketers are silencing the bookies as they still have realistic title dreams after they put an end to Standard Liege good run defeating them 1-0. With most teams cast aside now only A Selecao Das Quinas look like challenging the top 3 after they remain 4 points back of the promotion places after a convincing 5-0 win over local rival Corkscrew.


FL5 - Tornadoes BlowOut Against Local Rival

Clayton Royals are all but promoted and can be tomorrow after they remain 10 points clear of 2nd after defeating TunnelTiger 3-0. The Blurred Crusade are well on their way to promotion after they moved 5 points clear of 5th after they maintained their 2nd place defeating The Crafty Egg 2-0. The Tumbling Sixers had an important victory to be 3rd 2 points clear of 5th after defeating Kane Versus Ings 5-0. Touchnplay moved back into the promotion places but only on goal difference after a comfortable 4-0 victory over Crabbycabbys. Wolfberry Tornadoes dropped out of the promotion places to sit 5th after they were surprisingly held to a draw by local rival Box To Box.

Mixed Martial Farts moved into 3rd after they put on a clinical display in defeating high flyer Jellybellies 3-0 to remain 5 points back of the lead with Jellybellies now 6 points back. Old Fullerians AFC moved into 6th 7 points back of the lead after defeating local rival Winter Milan 2-0, this result sees Milan just 2 points clear of the bottom 3.


FL2 - Tomoro Tomoro Champions Tomoro Your Only A Day Away

DVGStars can be crowned champion tomorrow after they defeated promotion chasing St Kilda Select 2-0. Select are 6 points clear of 4th after dropping to 3rd place. Fools Utd are almost there after they moved into 2nd with a battling 1-0 victory over Exodus which moves them 9 points clear of 4th. Right Enuff failed to capitalise on St Kilda Select slip up after they were held by Naval and Military 1-1 to remain 4th. Shakhtar Senseless confirmed their position at the top of the table after defeating promotion and title rival The Cricketers 1-0, The Cricketers are now just 1 point clear of 4th. Harricam Wanderers continue in 2nd 4 points back and 5 clear of 4th after a routine 6-0 victory over Yorkies Strollers. A Selecao Das Quinas remain in 4th after beating Totton Saints 3-1 but now have realistic ambitions of the top 3. england are now 7 points back of 3rd but need a miracle to make it despite a 3-0 victory over Glanford Park.

Clayton Royals maintained their 10 point advantage at the top of the division after they were promoted today after defeating RKS City 3-0. The Blurred Crusade are now 8 points clear of 5th after they defeated promotion rival Touchnplay 1-0 in a tense encounter which sees Touchnplay drop to 5th 3 points back. The Tumbling Sixers remain 3rd after thumping Crabbycabbys 9-1 to hold a 5 points advantage. Wolfberry Tornadoes moved back into the promotion places after defeating Hunt Park Rovers 4-0. Republic of Leeds remain the dark horse as they continue their winning ways and dont have to play any of the top 5 after they defeated TunnelTiger 5-0 to be 5 points back of the top 4.

Super Imps remain 3 points clear at the top of the division after defeating FC Town of Luton 1-0. Looking at the bottom of the division we see Oi Prasinoi already relegated but its tight to see which other 2 teams join them in FL2 next term. As it stands Realale Madrid are 3 points adrift of safety after they were defeated 1-0 by Univ Craoiva. Winter Milan currently stand in the relegation places after they drew 1-1 with Aston Villains. Winter Milan are only in the relegation places on goal difference joined by 2 other teams on the same points them being Hoarse Whisperers who went above the drop zone after defeating Oi Prasinoi 2-0 and The Seg who were drawn into the battle after going down 1-0 to local rival Old Fullerians AFC. Aston Villains are only above the drop zone by 1 point so all to play for for these 5 clubs.

St Kilda Select stuttered today after they were surprisingly beaten by relegation threatened Corinthian Casuals 2-0 to now only hold a 4 points advantage over Brazilian Piggys in 4th. Team Georgia Mayajay were relegated today after losing 2-1 to White hart lane.

With 4 games remaining only goal difference seperates 3 teams at the top of the table. At the bottom there were wins for The Seg and Hoarse Whisperers to move them 2 points clear of the drop zone. Realale Madrid and Winter Milan occupy the relegation places with Aston Villains clear only on goal difference.

DVGStars were confirmed champions today despite being held to a goalless draw by White hart lane, their domination is clear as they hold a 10 points advantage. Fools Utd were promoted today back to the top flight after a 2-0 victory over Brazilian Piggys, what a season for The Server Cup and Europa League champion. St Kilda Select are moving ever closer to the final promotion spot after edging out Exodus 1-0 in a tense affair to move 6 points clear of 4th. Right Enuff are 4th and they still have a slim chance of promotion after they defeated The Rumour Mill 2-0. The relegation places look settled after Corinthian Casuals lost today and their poor goal difference looks to be the deciding factor.

The KC Shuffle opened up a 2 point lead at the top of the division today after they defeated title rival FC Basel 3-0. That result leaves them 8 points clear of 4th with FC Basel now in 3rd 3 points back but 5 clear of 4th. Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs promotion hopes increased greatly as they battled out a 1-1 draw with Aten Warriors to move into 2nd 2 points back but 6 clear of 4th now. Aten Warriors failure to win leaves them 5 points back of the promotion places. Romasexuals had a day to remember after they trounced Surreal Madrid 5-0 and now 6 points back of 3rd. Ogres also won 5-0 today as they defeated Westgate On Sea to move 7 points back. At the bottom it doesn't look good for The Delhi Dilemma or Pyros who are both 6 points back of safety.

Shakhtar Senseless were promoted today after they defeated Rebel Rovers 6-0 today to maintain their 4 points advantage at the top of the table. Harricam Wanderers remain 2nd after they defeated Standard Liege 2-0 to remain 6 points clear of 4th. A Selecao Das Quinas occupy the final promotion spot still after seeing off local rival england 2-0 to stay 1 point clear of 4th. The Cricketers stayed in promotion contention after battling past The Rhubarb Triangle 1-0 to remain 1 point back of the top 3. Tomorrow all eyes will be on Shakhtar Senseless and A Selecao Das Quinas as they do battle which will effect the title and promotion picture.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this season, thanks chaps.  I played the FL for a few seasons years ago but ran out of credits & didn't really want to give the game anymore. In fact I was going to leave completely.
It was a message from Steve which made me stay. He said, by all means leave the FL but don't leave the game.
That stuck with me for some reason so I spent many seasons building up credits via the votes & now I've come back to this.
Each game has been important & nervy and I've concentrated so much on this that I've now bought credits & really made an effort to build my team up.
Steve's daily reports have become essential reading, particularly as he puts in one or two gems every now and then to make you laugh.  I used to do this for Cricket Manager back in the day so I know how much effort has to go into this every day. Every game like this needs a Steve, who is prepared to relentlessly continue contributing when many fall away & drop out. 

Basically, I'm born again. I've never won promotion in the FL, the only times I've ever moved up a division is cos people above me have left.  But we're close to it now (fingers crossed) and even if we don't get there, I'm motivated enough to make a real bid for it next season.

So thanks all, you've re-ignited my interest in this game just as it used to be all those years ago.  Long may it continue and thanks all

So with 2 days to go 5 teams head into their games knowing they have a realistic chance at immortality and taking home the title FL61 champion. Super Imps hold a 1 point advantage at the top of the table after they were beaten by the ever improving Old Fullerians AFC winning 2-0 to move within 2 points of the lead. The Flashhearts moved into 2nd after a routine 2-0 win over the already relegated Oi Prasinoi 1 point out of the lead. Mixed Martial Farts moved to 2 points adrift despite being held by The New ICC Champion The Seg 1-1. Floriana FC still harbors hopes of the title after they defeated relegation threatened Aston Villains 2-1 to move 3 points back of the top. At the bottom of the division with Oi Prasinoi already relegated, Aston Villains and Realale Madrid currently occupy the relegation places with Hoarse Whisperers 2 points clear and The Seg and Winter Milan 3 points clear of the drop zone.

Todays results meant the relegation places were confirmed with Corinthian Casuals joining Team Georgia Mayajay and Sporting Messi FC.

The Blurred Crusade had an easier afternoon after they had a convincing 5-0 win over Crabbycabbys to sit 5 points clear. Wolfberry Tornadoes continue to hold the final promotion spot and improved their goal difference if its needed after a comprehensive 12-0 victory over TunnelTiger. Touchnplay had an impressive win today after they thrashed Hunt Park Rovers 7-1 to keep the pressure on those above 3 points back. Tomorrow Touchnplay play champion Clayton Royals in a match that could determine the promotion places.




I play the game for the enjoyment, win lose or draw. Im sure we have all experienced that special moment when we get success be it for me winning 711 or topping my Europa League table. The Friendly League gives us all an opportunity at greatness be it taking the overall title or taking the lower leagues and continuing to improve. I put the time into the Friendly League for the love of the game and I appreciate all your comments.
