Predictions for FL4. The always difficult to beat Standard Liege, who went unbeaten in their last FL campaign. Das Quinas and The Aguila's if they can get off to a good start and maintain it. Stow Wanderer's if they give their all. Please don't write off The Cricketer's. They will be there or thereabouts. Harricam are going through a period of inter dimensional flux so Ag does not know which team will turn up.

We need to ask The Gaffer how many promotion places are on offer ;) 8)

A typical first day in a Sunday League Division. Six winner's, Six Loser's and four teams who have drawn games. No runaway winner's and it goes to say no team's got the welly. A long way to go, no pattern's to explore, nobody on a run yet. Things will develop. Anxiety level's may start to rise or fall depending on your position in the Division.

What would really be good is FL4 Manager's posting in the Forum. It's your competition. However we don't mind other FL Managers commenting on what's going on ;) 8)

On day two of FL4 we have The Cricketer's leading from the front with two wins and in second also with six points are Shakhtar Senseless. Harricam make up the top three. Harricam have four points along with three other teams. Those teams are Standard Liege, The Aguias and Corkscrew, who, are yet to concede a goal.

At the foot of the table with no points are The Negative Amigo's, Rathpeacon and Glanford Park.  ;) 8)

Shakhtar Senseless are top of FL4 after 3 wins out of three. Today they beat Rathpeacon 3-1. "Easy Easy" chanted the Senseless crowd. Harricam move into second with a 3-0 victory over the then top of the table The Cricketer's. Cuban Pete fired in two second half goals to seal the result beyond doubt. Ag told the Team to "Calm down, Calm down" moving his arms up and down, "there's a long way to go yet."

The Aguias move into third place after seeing off Rebel Rover's 4-0. It was like a stroll through the woods claimed the Aguias Manager. "Their defender's moved like lumps of wood." SLB Pizzi netted a hatrick for his team. The shock result of the day was The Rhubarb Triangle's 4-0 beating of Standard Liege. Lou Stooth was presented with a replica of the match ball for the hatrick he fired into Liege's net.

Glanford Park hosted Yorkie's Stroller's hoping for a home win. Yorkie's Strollers left with a 0-3 win and three points in the bank. Stow Wanderer's and Das Quinas played out a fairly even  1-1 draw.

England went away to Corkscrew and thwarted them at virtually every turn. For their efforts they returned home 0-1 victors. The Negative Amigo's beat Totton Saints 2-0. However The Saints did dominate tactically and may consider themselves unlucky not to get anything out of the game. ;) 8)

For the last two seasons, I've been bottom after six games and then rallied to finish 7th and 8th. Looks like I'm going to repeat the first part of that again, three defeats in a row, one to Harricam and one to Shaktar. It;s very frustrating, you cant win the league in the first few games but you lose it, I've lost it already  :(

Just keep plugging away and see where you finish. If other's drop points and you can put a run together..then you never know ;) 8)

I'm away on holiday tomorrow for a week.

I have a caretaker lined up, who I have full confidence in keeping me near the top.  ;D

Bottom of the table Glanford Park took on Das Quinas today and were badly mauled 6-0. The Das Quinas striker Christiano Ronaldo_P grabbed five of their goals. He immediately went missing after the match, rumoured to be down the local boozer. Rathpeacon went away to Stow Wanderer's and came away 3-0 losers. The Rath Manager is planning to burn the midnight oil with the intention of turning their FL campaign round.

Corkscrew saw off Rebel Rovers 4-0. The Rebels could not find any tactics to combat their antagonists. Totton Saints visited Harricam today and came away narrow losers as Harricam stole a 1-0 home victory. Ag hid the bag of swag behind the filing cabinet for the next time they may need to steal a game. ;)

The Negative Amigo's visited england today and the game was a 0-0 draw. The Pundits could not separate the teams performance wise and agreed the draw was a reflection of the talent on offer. Standard Liege hosted top of the table Shakhtar and have now lost two games on the bounce, going down 0-1 at home. The Standard Supporters left the ground in a stunned silence.

The Rhubarb Triangle move into third place in the table after beating Yorkie's Strollers 2-0. The sound of the Rhubarb is on the march. The Cricketers took the three points in a very close game against The Aguias. The winner came in the 90th minute and there was no time or way back for The Aguias.  8)

Didn't get to log in today so another defeat. Looks like the season is over already, I'm looking at a relegation battle from here in.

Shakhtar are top of FL4 with five wins out of five. Today they dispatched Totton Saints 3-0. Justin Case scored a hatrick including two spot kicks. It seems like Totton got whacked but the pundits felt they were harshly done by and the game was closer than the score suggest's. Das Quinas arrived at the Harricam ground buoyant with confidence. They went in at half time 0-1 leaders. Ag needed an inspiring team talk. So he cobbled together his best Spanish/German/Italian/French accent and launched into the team talk. Nobody knew quite what was said but Harricam ran out 2-1 winners. Ag thought what a motivational speaker. HA ;)

According to the pundits Yorkies Strollers had more possession than The Aguias in the game today. However they could not turn it into goals and The Aguias moved into third in FL4 on the back of this 2-0 win. One of the Matches of the Day saw Corkscrew inflict the third FL defeat on the trot on Standard Liege. It was a 1-0 defeat but the travelling supporters felt it was much worse.

Stow Wanderer's and The Cricketer's fought out a 1-1 draw. The Cricketer's were 1-0 down when they went down to ten men. They still had the focus to grab that equaliser. The Rhubarb Triangle went down 0-1 at home to England. It was a very even game but England took the spoils.

The Negative Amigo's and Rathpeacon fought out a 1-1 draw. Rathpeacon's campaign is moving forward. It was a very cagey 0-0 draw for Glanford and Rebel Rovers. Defence was the order of the day. ;) 8)

Bottom of the table Glanford went away to high flying Corkscrew and came away licking their wounds after a 4-0 pasting. Maiken Caspersen grabbed a hatrick including two spot kicks. Corkscrew move into third place. Rathpeacon saw some daylight yesterday after gaining their first point. The Cricketer's firmly closed the curtains on them today as they beat Rathpeacon 3-1.

The Rhubarb Triangle beat Rebel Rovers 3-0 at a canter. The Triangle are a point off the promotion places. In what looked a fairly one-sided game dominated by Stow Wanderer's with over sixty percent possession, Totton Saints hung on for a 1-1 draw.

England had a 2-0 home win over Yorkie's Strollers. Jamie Vardy grabbing both goals. Standard Liege are back on the winning trail with a 4-0 win over The Negative Amigo's. Standard had four different goal scorer's showing the depth of talent in their squad.

Das Quinas entertained The Aquias and these evenly matched teams produced a 1-1 draw. Honour's even. The Match of the Day was top of the table Shakhtar who went to second placed Harricam. The Stadium was rocking when Cuban Pete fired Harricam ahead in the 57th minute. Shakhtar could not find a way back into the game, and indeed put through their own net to seal a 2-0 win for Harricam.  8)

Take a look at the table. FL4 is shaping up nicely. Team's improving, some Team's finding it a bit tricky. All to play for..please don't be downhearted if your plan's are not coming to fruition yet. That improvement may be just around the corner. ;) :o ??? :-X 8)
