Yeah i can live with this just so long that we all get a place in the leagues. An 8 team league will fill up in seconds. Hope the others are ready to go quickly afterwards.

Oh, ok.  I misinterpreted that.  I simply tried to join and was asked for a password.  I didn't know it was possible to set the leagues to be visible but not open until a later date and i thought the reference to a password meant that initially no password would be used but that this might change in the future, after opening , if over subscribed ( or misused etc)
i see now that it means it will open tomorrow and the password requirement will disappear then .   8)

Okay, but what if the same 8 teams enter again and again? (like they already do, which is fine - I am often one of them). Defeats the purpose of the object IMO?

Of course, I would stop entering on occasion to let others have a shot, but I can bet that many people won't be quite so accommodating. Borg will be in every single one, so that's only 7 teams.

But, then, on the other hand, I don't see why I should feel guilty about entering my team again and again if a place is available. As I said, I'm sure some others won't feel a shred of guilt. The only way it would be a tad fairer is if lots of mini leagues are created and people are only allowed to enter one league at a time. Maybe assign different league creators so each league contains 8/8 different managers.

Reading all of this and the descriptions of the leagues I think...

- It's trying to make them better than before?
- Quickfire comps to keep everyone interested
- Stop people from using it for a seasons training
- If people want the game to continue it looks like you will have to spend money / buy credits.

Totally agree. It's going to be exactly the same only the same 16 managers that always entered will become 8. Needs 4 competitions on at once. Everyone gets a turn.

I hope we have four competitions at a minimum. I hope other people can start them too otherwise Borg has to enter every time which is unfair to him and maybe to us too
