The 16 sixteen gold league used to always fill up in a few hours. I would argue that you need a lot more than just two 8 team gold leagues. I think 3 or 4 would not be enough.

there's what like 100 managers who all want the extra training why not have a good league set up similar to the fl where training benefits can be had by all who actually play not just 8 lucky ones! everyone seems to love fl (probably the best comp on the game) why can't we make it so fl has the extra training?

Wouldn’t that be taking more money OUT of the game that is already on it’s way out giving Training Benefits to every FL Manager when there are teams that don’t even show up for games.

IMO that isn’t the greatest idea but everyone is entitled to their view.

To be honest if you had every manager vote yes on this it still wouldn’t happen.

Perhaps you could have the top two or three divisions only of the FL set up as Gold leagues.  That way , with Steve's relegation and promotion system,  teams would need to earn their place in the Gold divisions ( which is better than just luck based on what time you log in) and teams that didn't turn up would soon be relegated and eliminated.

The next Gold League will open 7am the day after the current one finishes. This action will be the way they will open from here forward. Will also post this in chat.


I’m also going to review the current Gold cup comps ie WC. The game can’t afford anymore 8 team World Cups. Costing the game 24000cr each time. One will go of our current crop potentially.
I’m going to look into lower entrance fees to make them more appealing but prizes will obviously be lower.

I think the world cup and super cup need to go. There is very little demand for both. Even the beer and wino cup can struggle to be filled. Players are not interested in spending up to 1000 credits for a cup competition where half the players will only play one match.

If the entry fees were lower, maybe 100 or 200 credits, I think you would see more interest. The winners prize does not need to be very high, 1,000 credits is surely enough. The prestige of winning is much more important than a few thousand credits.
