FL4 Season 62

I have been asked to start a thread for FL4. I won't be able to report every day so please everyone, try your best to participate here.

I'm going to start by cheating and going to copy Steve's reports here for round one and two, I'll add my own twist from tomorrow :-)



FL4 - Amigos Leave Opponents In A Blur

The Negative Amigos got into their stride early as they thrashed The Blurred Crusade 6-0. A Selecao Das Quinas have started the season in fine form and today they easily saw off local rival Corkscrew winning 4-0. Rathpeacon started their campaign with a win seeing off newly promoted Wolfberry Tornadoes 3-0. SLB Aguias will be looking to make the next step this season and victory today over The Tumbling Sixers 2-0 will help their cause.



FL4 - Cork Screwed By Amigos

The Negative Amigos lead the division after a fine 2-0 win over Corkscrew. A Selecao Das Quinas continue to impress today defeating local rival The Tumbling Sixers 3-0. Rathpeacon have started their campaign in fine fashion today seeing off Standard Liege winning 3-0. SLB Aguias recorded another victory after they battled past newly promoted Wolfberry Tornadoes 1-0.

Working away the first two games of the season, so that hasn't helped me at all!

Round three

Four teams have maintained their 100% record. Negative Amigos beat Totton Saints 2-0, Selecao Das Quinas beat Delhi Dilemma 2-0, SLB Aguias also beat England 2-0 and Rathpeacon  had a 3-1 win over Clayton Royals. Rhubarb Triangle moved into fifth with a 1-0 win over Corkscrew. In a notable result, Wolfberry Tornadoes got their first win of the campaign with a 5-0 win over Stow Wanderers. 

The big game tomorrow sees Selecao Das Quinas playing SLB Aguias.

We might have a really competitive league on our hands. Just need to see all of the top four dropping points soon, you don't want a points gap opening up too early in the season.

Round four

Negative Amigos and SLB Aguias maintained their 100% records with wins for Negative Amigos over Delhi Dilemma and SLB who had a narrow 1-0 win over the previously unbeaten Selecao Das Quinas. Rathpeacon were held to a 1-1 draw by England.

Rhubarb Triangle remain in fifth but dropped two points at home to the Blurred Crusade. Callums Liverpool join them on seven points after an excellent 3-0 win over Stow Wanderers.

At the bottom, Corkscrew and Totton Saints have yet to pick up points. The big move at the bottom came from Standard Liege who moved up to eleventh after a 2-0 win over Wolfberry.

Round five


No change at the top. Negative Amigos bet Callums Liverpool 2-0 and SLB Aguias beat Standard Liege 3-0 to preserve their 100% records. Third place Rathpeacon beat Stow Wanderers 7-0 while Selecao Das Quinas stay fourth despite a 0-0 draw with The Rhubarb Triangle. That draw saw Rhubarb fall from fifth to seventh after wins for Tumbing Sixers over England and Clayton Royals over Wolfberry.

At the bottom Totton Saints picked up their first point with a 0-0 draw at home to the Blurred Crusade.

On the plus side my chaps are proving hard to beat.
On the negative, so are the teams I'm up against

Good to see Clayton doing well in this. He smashed FL5 last season.

Round six

Negative Amigos and SLB Aguirias both kept their 100% record with their sixth straight win. Negative Amigoes beat Rhubarb Triangle 3-0 while SLB Aguias Corkscrew 3-0. Rathpeacon stayed in touch with a 4-0 win over Callums Liverpool to stay third.  Selecao Das Quinas stay foruth after a huge win over Standard Liege, 11-0 the final score.

Clayton Royals and the Tumbling Sixers both dropped two points but stayed fifth and sixth. At the bottom Stow Wanderers beat Totton Saints to move out of the relegation zone.

Round seven

Only one team now has a 100% record. SLB Aquias beat Totton Saints 10-1 to take the lead on their own with seven wins from seven. Negative Amigos dropped their first points of the campaign with a 1-1 draw against England. Rathpeacon beat Delhi Dilemma 2-0 to stay in the hunt. Selecao Das Quinas stay fourth after a 2-0 win over Clayton Royals. Clayton Royals defeat sees them fall from fifth to sixth after Tumbling Sixes beat Callums Liverpool 3-0.

At the bottom Corkscrew got their first win of the campaign with a 1-0 win over Stow Wanderers. Others movers at the bottom include Wolfberry and Standard Liege who both recorded narrow wins today.

Round eight


SLB Aguias remain on top of the league. Another win today, this time a 3-0 win over Delhi Dilemma, means they maintain their 100% and lead the league by four points.  Rathpeacon dropped two points against second from bottom Totton Saints. After yesterday's win, could Totton Saints be starting to turn their season around?

Selecao Das Quinas beat england 1-0 to move back into third after Negative Amigoes were beaten 1-0 by Clayton Royals.

Round nine

No change among the top seven places today
No one seems to be able to stop SLB Aquias. Today they recorded their ninth straight win with a 6-0 victory over Callums Liverpool. Rathpeacon stay second after a 6-0 win over the Rhubarb Triangle.

Third and fourthand fifth all drew today. Selecao Das Quinas  were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolfberry Tornadoes while Negative Amigos drew 0-0 with fifth placed Tumbling Sixers. Clayton Royals beat Corkscrew 3-0 to close the gap on fifth but Blurred Crusade drew to lose ground on the promotion chasers.

At the bottom, Totton Saints beat Standard Liege 4-0 to move off the bottom of the table. That's five points from three games for the Saints, their recovery continues.
