 :)

still unbeaten which is the best I have ever done in FL4. Sixth is the highest that I have ever finished in FL4, I've never really threatened promotion so it's nice to be in the hunt for a change. Plenty competition though, hopefully my run lasts a little bit longer.

Round eleven

Today was a huge day at the top of the table. SLB Aguias remain unbeaten with a 100% record after a 2-0 win over fourth place Negative Amigoes. Eleven games, eleven wins and they are yet to concede a goal. Can anyone stop SLB from winning this title?

With third and fourth both losing, fifth place Tumbling Sixers beat Blurred Crusade 2-0 and sixth place Clayton Royals beat Delhi Dilemma 4-0 to close the gap. England beat Totton Saints 2-0 to move up three places to seventh.

At the bottom, Corkscrew had a huge 8-0 win of Wolfberry to move from bottom to fourteenth.

Round twelve

The only 100% record in any of the five FL divisions has come to an end as SLB Aguias were beaten 1-0 today by the Blurred Crusade. That loss gave Rathpeacon an opportunity to close the gap and after a 1-0 win over Corkscrew, they are now just three points behind the leaders. Selecao das Quinas hammered Corkscrew 8-0 to stay third while Negative Amigos also stayed in the hunt with a 1-0 win over Standard Liege. Fifth placed Tumbling Sixes beat Totton Saints 1-0 while sixth place Clayton Royals beat Rhubarb Triangle 2-0.

Little change at the bottom as all of the bottom four lost today.

Tomorrow's big game sees second placed Rathpeacon play fourth placed Negative Amigos.

Round fifteen - half ways there  :D

Second place Rathpeacon stayed in touch with a 3-0 win over Tumbling Sixers. Third placed Selecao das Quinas beat Blurred Crusade 4-0. Clayton Royals are making a strong push for promotion and move up to a season high fourth after a 4-0 win over Standard Liege.

No change today amongst the bottom six. Corkscrew and Totton Saints played out a 2-2 draw in a result that does little for either side. The remainder of the bottom six all lost.

Tomorrow sees the start of the second half of the season, good luck to everyone  :) :)

Round twenty

Two thirds of the season has been completed and SLB Aguias have all but sealed promotion. A 4-0 win over Standard Liege maintains their seven point lead at the top. At this stage, they are sixteen points clear of fourth place and surely will play FL3 soccer next season.

Second, third and fourth all won today. Selecao das Quinas beat Rhubarb Triangle 2-0, Rathpeacon beat bottom side Stow Wanders 12-0 and Clayton Royals beat Wolfberry 2-0. Fifth place Negative Amigos lost 4-0 to Callums Liverpool.

With ten games to go Selecao are seven behind SLB and one clear of Rathpeacon. Rathpeacon lead Clayton by eight points. Negative Amigos are a further four points back in fifth place. Negative Amigos will surely struggle to win promotion at this stage while Clayton need an excellent run in if they are to close the gap.

At the bottom Stow are twelve points away from safety and are surely doomed to FL5 at this point. Corkscrew and Callums Liverpool both won today to ease their relegation concerns. Totton Saints and Rhubarb Triangle both lost today and are four points away from safety.

Round twenty one

Today saw the start of the last third of the season, ten games to decide the winners and losers for FL4 season 62!

Leaders SLB Aguias kept up their great run with a 2-0 win over Corkscrew. Second placed Selecao das Quinas beat Standard Liege 3-0 and third placed Rathpeacon beat Callums Liverpool 4-0. Round twenty two

As almost every other day, SLB Aguias won again today, this time they beat Totton Saints 3-0. This win keeps SLB's lead at seven points. With just eight games to go, the title is surely theirs to lose.

In the battle for the promotion spots, second place Selecao das Quinas played fourth played Clayton Royals. Clayton went into the game ten points behind a promotion place and had to win. Unfortunately for Clayton, they were beaten 3-0 to fall fourteen points behind Selecao and thirteen points behind Rathpeacon who had a 6-0 win over Delhi Dilemma. Even at this stage, it would appear that the three promotion places may have been decided.

Amongst the other movers were Negative Amigos who moved up to fourth after a 4-0 win over England. Tumbling Sixers and Wolfberry both won to move into sixth and seventh respectively.

No changes in the bottom half as seven of the bottom eight lost today. Corkscrew were he only victors with a 5-1 win over Stow Wanderers. This win puts Corkscrew six points clear of relegation.

With just eight games to go, every point will be vital in the battle to stay in FL4.  :)
