Round twenty three


The top three all won today. SLB Aguias beat Delhi Dilemma 3-0, Selecao das Quinas beat England 6-0 and Rathpeacon beat Totton Saints 6-0.

Of the chasing pack, fourth place Negative Amigos lost 1-0 to Clayton Royals. Clayton move up to fourth but they are thirteen points behind third place Rathpeacon with only seven games to go.

At the bottom, Rhubarb Triangle had a 4-2 win over Tumbling Sixers to close the gap on those above them. Standard Liege beat Corkscrew 6-0 to move five points clear of the bottom three.

Seven games to go and six points separate eleventh from fifteenth, this could go all the way.

FL4 - SLB Aguias Promoted

SLB Aguias confirmed their promotion with a 2-0 win over Callums Liverpool. There were wins for promotion elect A Selecao Das Quinas and Rathpeacon and if results go their way they can both be promoted tomorrow. At the bottom of the league Totton Saints are 3 points back of safety after they were beaten 6-1 by Standard Liege. Stow Wanderers defeated The Delhi Dilemma 2-0 but relegation looks certain as they trail 4th bottom by 11 points.

Round twenty five


Not content with promotion, SLB Aquias continue their assault on the title with a 3-0 win over Rhubarb Triangle. SLB stay seven points clear of second place Selecao das Quinas. Selecao beat Callums Liverpool 3-0 to stay one point ahead of third place Rathpeacon who beat Blurred Crusade 4-0.

Selecao and Rathpeacon meet tomorrow. The winner will be promoted. Fourth placed Clayton Royals kept their slim promotion hopes alive with an impresive 8-0 over Tumbling Sixers.

At the bottom, the bottom four all lost heavily today. Corkscrew beat england 4-1 to move up to eleventh and nine points clear of fourteenth, they have surely done enough to survive. Three points separate Callum's Liverpool, Totton Saints and Rhubarb Triangle. Two of these three will join Stow in FL5 next season. The next five games will decide which two.

Congratulations to Selecao das Quinas who easily beat third placed Rathpeacon 4-1 today to seal their promotion in FL3 for next season. Leaders SLB Aquias beat Negative Amigos 4-0. Two more wins will be enough to be crowned champions.

Fourth placed Clayton Royals beat Delhi Dilemma 4-0 to close the gap on Rathpeacon to ten points.

At the bottom, most of those in relegation trouble played each other today. The bottom two Stow and Rhubarb Triangle drew 2-2. Totton Saints beat england 4-0 and Callums Liverpool beat Standard Liege 4-2 while Corscrew hammered Wolfberry 7-1.

Corkscrew move nine points clear of the drop zone, england are now just seven points clear but are surely safe.

Round twenty seven

We now know who will be promoted to FL3 for next season. Third placed Rathpeacon beat Corkscrew 8-1 and now cannot be caught by fourth placed Clayton Royals.

Leaders SLB Aguias beat Blurred Crusade 4-0 to leave them just one win away from the title while second placed Selecao das Quinas beat Stow 7-0. Clayton Royals beat Rhubarb Triangle 3-0.

At the bottom, Stow's defeat means they are relegated to FL5. All of the bottom five lost today but england beat Standard Liege 4-1 to preserve their FL4 status for next season.

Round twenty eight


Third last round today and SLB Aquias sealed the title today after a hard fought 1-0 win over fourth placed Clayton Royals. Congratulations to SLB, you have led the league since the very beginning and you are deserving champions.

Second placed Selecao das Quinas had a solid 3-0 win over Totten Saints which seals second place for them. Third placed Rathpeacon drew 0-0 with fifth placed Negative Amigos.


Totten Saints, Rhubarb Triangle and Callum's Liverpool all lost. Standard Liege beat Rhubarb 4-0 and have now secured their SL4 status for next season. Two games to go and three teams could join Stow in SL5 next season. Who will it be?

Rhubarb meet Callums Liverpool tomorrow while Totten are at home to Delhi Dilemma.

Round twenty nine

SLB Aguias are on their lap of honour and celebrated yesterday's title win by beating third placed Rathpeacon 3-0. Second placed Selecao das Quinas beat fifth placed Negative Amigos 2-0 while fourth placed Clayton Royals beat england 4-0.

At the bottom, Callum's Liverpool won the relegation six pointer by beating Rhubarb Triangle 2-0 to relegate Rhubarb to FL5. Callum's victory puts them six points clear of Totton Saints who lost 4-0 to Delhi Dilemma. Totton will be in FL5 next season.

With one round of games to go, the champions have been crowned, the promotion and relegation places have all been decided. Tomorrow's round has only pride at stake.

Round thirty

Today was a dead rubber round but for the record, SLB won yet again, 5-0 to win the league by seven points. Selecao das Quinas beat Blurred Crusade 1-0 to finish a very creditable second, twelve points clear of third. Rathpeacon were hammered today and maybe still a little hammered after last night 

At the bottom, Rhubard Triangle, Totton Saints and Stow Wanderers will be FL5 teams next season.
