UCB ( Ultimate Conference Battle ) Tables & Reports

Hi All,

Please see below the tables for the final day of the 19th UCB Challenge. Congratulations to Conference 7 for winning their 5th UCB 


Final Standings

Conference 7 finished top of the table with 155 points, Conference 2 finished second with 146 points, Conference 1 finished third with 138 points.

Conference 1,2 & 6 were the day's best performers gaining 12 points each . Conference 3 & 4  were the day's worst performers gaining 3 points each. 

Conference 5 finished bottom with 49 points, and are the wooden spoon winners 

Top Ranking Teams - Top Performers:

Old Bad Luck Utd top the best performing teams only dropping 2 points, winning 13 matches and drawing just 1 match, with 40 points x 2 = 80 for Conference 7  . Super Imps are the second top performing team with 35 points. The flashhearts were the third best performing team with 31 points. Old Bad Luck United are the only unbeaten team in UCB 19.

Worst Performing Teams

Worst performing teams was KF PrIsHtInA-LiVe with no wins, no points and only 1 goal scored but 99 conceded. The big reason for Conference 5 finishing bottom.

I think in future, Conference team captains need to make sure that their team are going to show up, and set up, and give all for the UCB and their Conferences.

Thanks for the comments guys, and appreciation of the effort.

It's all worth it though to benefit the game and the community, managers, and keep SL alive and kicking for many years to come,

Well done Conference 7.  That was a great competition and worthy winners.  Brilliant organisation by Deca.

Would the title have been different without the high scoring double your points group?

Yes it would have. Over half of conference seven points came from the double group points, 80 out of their 155.

I think conference 1 would have won, but I haven't done the maths.

Interesting reading. However The Borg's other team will be in 711 next time out

We'd never have won it without the Borg's contribution 

I'd sooner go back to the old format, to make it fairer, maybe we can have a vote on it for next time

I'm not actually sticking round in Conference 8 so watch this space..

More than happy for it to go back to the old format, I did it this way to be a part of it myself
as I was the one who originally came up with this competition many moons ago!

I am always here to assist setting up and do the draw etc. I don't have the table skills Deca does unfortunately.
