I'd prefer not to be known as Jose. Thats an unfortunate username that i used when i set up the account as he had replaced LVG at Man United. Unfortunately I hadn't realised by then that his style of football would be so boring as to make me not want to watch it and I can't change th username. David is my real name and I'm happy with David, DVG or 3 Eye . I had intended to keep the ownership of Westeros a secret and was hoping to create a mysterious aura of who the 3 Eyed Raven was but in the end, when i was asked, it just seemed better to answer. I am rebuilding DVG Stars ,but to be honest, not with the same enthusiasm that I built The original DVG Stars or Westros. For the Stars I has a spreadsheet which showed when each player in each position would reach his peak so that I could time purchases in the transfer market to always have a replacement reaching a good standard at the sam time as another passed his peak. That can be done with a little switching between the preferred formation and use of any sides players. I can't motivate myself to do it for the rebuild. Maybe I should have kept the old Stars going as the hard work was done but I found it too much to manage 2 teams and perhaps mistakenly when i raised i would be concentration on Westeros for a while I dismantled the Stars so that the could be strong after Westeros peaked.
. Westeros are a bit different. They are timed to all peak at once so that I will be able use any formation I want to suit the conditions in big games and not worry about injuries . The real dream is to win a champions shield or elite cup. DVG Stars got to finals but then failed ( apart from an ICC) due to not being at their best when it mattered. . We will see what happens with Westeros and being in 1-1-1 will not make it easy to even qualify for a champions shield but 1-1-1 is also a big prize. Once Westeros have peaked I'll need to decide whether to continue with them or gp back to DVG. But in the meantime. Westeros are here for the next 4 seasons
Do you remember when we used to have a thread of "meet the manager" It would be good to hear from some of the new managers. I'll bounce that thread up to the top.
