Congratulations on a fine win last night Dan.  Ive no desire to see Rich lose as he is a fine champion and a legend but to put yourself in the lead with just a game to go is a fantastic achievement against that level of competition. what   a finale!  Good luck to both of you tomorrow.   

PS if my post last night was a little cryptic i was just pointing out that a draw would not have put you level with a superior goal difference as you were thinking.  cos Rich would also have gained a pint so he would still have been leading.  Good job you won , then.  :)

Well done Dan, you pipped me to the post! I find it harder to win this conference more than anything else!  Haven' t checked the stats but only had about 3 wins in the last 12. At least that was followed up by 3 wins out of 3 in the Champions of Champions 😃

Looking forward to the battle again next season with the mighty Westeros getting better and better over the next 3 seasons.

Congrats again Dan and good luck to everyone for next season 👍

Cheers Rich.  Conference One is certainly difficult and worth winning, thanks to the likes of yourself.  I missed being in the champions shield these past two seasons so I'm pleased to have a crack at that next season and yes,  getting 48 points for the final match against yourself  certainly helped with managers table. I was grateful to have built that goal difference up over the season, cos I would not have fancied  that final game if needed a win or draw. Looking forward to next season.  8)

Many congratulations on the title.  That was a hard fought season ( well I was  fighting hard) and you came out on top...yet again.  My team was at it's peak, 810 in stats is very hard to beat,  but I wasn't able to defend last season's win so extra well done to you mate.

I'm going to take a break in the New Year and regroup ready to come back in 3 or 4 seasons...probably in a different league, maybe with DVG Stars back in Conf 4. (although I may play in a few of the shorter day time competitions until my team declines) . Good luck with further establishing your legend status and Happy New Year as champion .

A few seasons back Flashearts and Twente Bensons stopped me from winning for about 6 seasons 😕
