Now is the time to welcome all the new teams to FL 2 whether from FL 1 or FL 3.
I hope you all have a very enjoyable season.

My predictions for this season are:-

Oi Prasinoi
The Huckley Way
Corkscrew

Outsiders :-

CSI Westgate on Sea
West End Girls

For a few seasons now I have managed to predict two of the three teams who were promoted.  A word to the wise for the newcomers, All promotion places have not been decided until the very last day of the season for the last couple of seasons so it will be wise not to give up hope but to keep trying till the very last ball is kicked.   :) 8) :)

And They are off.

First games played today and there were seven wins and one draw.

Heading the league on day one by goal difference The KC Shuffle.

Second place by goal difference Reyes De Costa Rica.

Third place by Goal difference The Huckley Way.

Not much to report on first day as usual.

More tomorrow, hope i can get the reports in during World Cup half Times.  :) 8)

Day two and just five teams with 100% records.  Only two teams with no points.

CSI-Westgate-Egypt move to the top on goal difference with a 3-0 win against The Delhi Dilemma.

Reyes De Costa Rica keep second place after winning 2 - 1 against Corinthian Casuals.

Aten warriors move into third place with a 2 - 0 win against Oi Prasinoi.

Other results today:-

After five games I am very happy to be nearer the top end of the table  :)

Reyes De Costa Rica and The Huckley Way have got off to perfect starts! They both look like very strong contenders for promotion at this early stage of the season.

All teams have points on the board and the results seem to be very close. It will be a tight league with plenty of competition  8)
