One game to go and we don't have the final promotion/relegation positions decided yet.  As usual, FL 2 is carrying on the tradition of going down to the last day of the season. Of course, King Kennys Army are favourites to become Champions but football is a funny old game.  Then there is the battle for the final promotion place between The Huckley Way and Aten warriors who once again change places in the league.

King Kennys Army won 1-0 at The KC Shuffle and stay clear at the top by three points closely followed by    The Pompey Chimes who won 2 - 0 against  Aten warriors and sent them down to fourth place.

The Huckley Way won 2-0 at The Delhi Dilemma and take over third place.

Final days games for the top four are:-


   Oi Prasinoi   vs    King Kennys Army
   The Pompey Chimes   vs    Ogres
   The Tumbling Sixers   vs    The Huckley Way
   Corkscrew   vs    Aten warriors

So all games have been played and the results are in.

Congratulations to King Kennys Army who clinched the title today with a 4-0 win at Oi Prasinoi and finished six points in front of The Pompey Chimes who lost by the only goal in the game against Ogres.

The Huckley Way claimed third place with a 3-0 win at The Tumbling Sixers and
Aten warriors finished two points back after a 2-0 win at Corkscrew.

So the final placings are:-

Promoted:-
   
King Kennys Army=  Champions
The Pompey Chimes=  Runners up
The Huckley Way=  Third place and promotion.

Congratulations to all three promoted sides.  Wish you well in the top flight.

Hell of a season. So happy to win it. Was in the gym at 3.15. Stopped the treadmill, checked the score, finished the session with a flourish! Thanks for all the write ups Brian!
