So happy it's back. I lose a little interest in Sunday League when this competition is off.

Thanks for the confidence Steve. Let's do this

Four points from my first five games, not looking very good. Not being able to set up yesterday didn't help

In the absence of Steve's wonderful write ups, (he deserves a break after organising the world cup as well as FL),

FL3 reached the half way point today, Rekrap Avengers lead the way on 38 points. They are followed by three teams on 31 points: Clayton Royals, Rebel Rovers and Rathpeacon and on 30 points we have FC Basel. Subgenius are sixth on 27 points and also in the hunt are Surreal Madrid on 26 points and Team Georgia MayaJay on 24. This is the closest FL3 season for a long time!

In the FL cup, we have reached the semi finals:

Aston Villians play the flashearts while Aten Warriors will play first time semi-finalists Rathpeacon. Games to be played on Friday, good luck all.

Congratulations to Rich and his Super Imps on winning FL69 with 4 games remaining, a truly dominant display.

The battle for 2nd is hotting up with TheFlashhearts, Hoarse Whisperers and Menagerie all locked on the same points.

Congratulations to King Kennys Army on promotion to the top table with The Pompey Chimes seemingly joining them with The Huckley Way and Aten Warriors battling for the final spot.

Congratulations to Rekrap Avengers on promotion to FL2. Rebel Rovers and Subgenius look likely to join them in promotion.

Congratulations to Old Fullerians AFC on promotion to FL3. Wizards FC and Wizards are all but certain to join them in promotion.

HH Beticos look likely to win FL5 with Exeter City, Magic Dancemat and The Fickle Ferrets battling it out to join them.

Thanks Kyle.

I need this season off doing the write ups as I was finding myself spending too much time on the game.

With the server issues we had recently I did question whether I wanted to carry on playing Sundayleague. I have decided to scale down my play with just 2 teams now and I have enjoyed the last few weeks.

The intention going forward is that I will do The FL review next season as I believe it does add an extra dimension to the competition.

it's makes the competition a lot better I think! why don't you draft someone in to help you with the reviews? get someone to cover each league then send you the report will save you a lot of time! everyone on here appreciates what you do for the game. if you need any help off me I would be happy to oblige 👍

Steve, I'm glad you have said this as I was getting worried about your low profile in the game recently. Besides managing teams you put a tremendous effort into running the FL set up, come rain, come shine, regardless of whatever is happening on your side of the screen. I know other Managers love your work and state how much it means to them but sometimes you may need some more practical help. That's your decision, but if you ask for support I hope there's an overwhelming response from all of us fellow Managers who could not do without the FL setup 8)

Hello Steve et al,

For me FL is the only reason I play Sunday League. My team is never going to win an x-1-1 title, or even come close to winning one but in FL, I can compete at a level that suits my team. (looks like I am going to finish 4th in FL3 for the FOURTH time in seven seasons!!!)

FL is far more important to me than the division or any other private league will ever be.

I know that Steve makes an enormous effort to organise and run FL. It is a pity that this gets left to Steve alone. Maybe several people here could help share the load, three or four people would make a huge difference.

The recent server problems have really sucked the life out of the game and shaken everyone's confidence in it. Lots of people have quit or reduced their involvement. Without FL, the game will surely die. I ask people to volunteer to help run FL.

I'll start by volunteering myself :D

I will echo Eamonns comments. I play Sunday League for FL it's my favourite competition. I prefer it to night time division matches.

If Steve was to leave I think he would take half of the population with him.

I will offer my services if required!

Steve has done more than enough to support the game with his superb contributions in making FL1 what it is. Winning FL1 is in my opinion the best a manager can achieve in the game. You know you've made it when you've won it, and it takes a top top team and lots of homework to win it.
There are a few of us that contribute to the game and enhance the enjoyment for all that play the game.it just needs a few more to help out and keep the game going forward for the benefit of all. No development of the game means we need to find ways of keeping the game interesting and enjoyable to play and that can only happen with the contribution of willing volunteers like Steve for FL1,Brian for FL2, me for end of season rankings, etc. or we'll be losing more managers that have lost their enthusiasm
