Inter Conference Cup

In light of Deca's wise comments earlier about us making the game better for ourselves. I had a think of the best competitions when I was on last time on the Smokey server. One of my favourites was the Inter Conference Cup. 4 teams from each conference in 4 leagues of 8 with 1 conference player per league. Each conferences points added up and the most points is the best conference.

This may have been done recently too but I haven't seen it and want to get it up and going.

I'm proposing that each conference champion is the captain of their conference and picks their squad seeding them for the leagues.

I think its the Ultimate Conference Battle you're thinking of Ryan, we were playing it up until a few seasons back. Deca has the stats as well. Id love to bring it back, ill look back throughout the pages and resurrect the thread if you're keen to take the reins on it?

Just my 2 cents, I feel like sometimes some of these comps can lose their way in the middle of the season when we have FL, TCL, Gold Cups/Leagues, ICC and UCB. Maybe we could try and spread them out throughout the season to make sure that managers aren't playing 7/8 games in the afternoon?

That's a good shout.

Was thinking of doing it every 3 days to make it last longer, could try and do it so as it is on a different day to the other 3 day competitions. Then at least it's lot everyday playing loads.

It's great to see old competitions being resurrected. The game needs these initiatives if it is to get back on track. Well done all.

Deca i will set it all up and get it running if you fancy doing the reports (I would do them but yours are waaaaaaaaaay beyond my level).
