ps When both my teams play each other, and this applies to any other managers having 2 teams in the UCB, play attacking, and no change of advanced tactics, so result could go either way and not an unfair advantage for any Conference quartet by deliberately throwing the result

Three big players out and got battered in all my PL matches - but got a UCB draw against Ryan. Not complaining but maybe such a thing is an omen of a good competition for me ;-).

Just for the record, I also had three injured key players. I drew in the UCB (and FL!) but am less happy about it. The stats of the three come to 2360. Take out the keeping stats (86) and it's 2275 for all the out-field stats. An average of 98.34 per stat. Which is a lot to lose in one go.

I'm lucky in that I (seem to) have a match tonight against a manager who isn't bothering. I might get one player back for tomorrow but assuming I don't get any more out I'll still be missing two major players for a lot of important games.

It's not really a rant because I know others might be in the same boat or suffer similarly later in the season but this is the worst I've ever been punished at the beginning of a season where I wasn't a reigning conference champion.

Sometimes I wish I played Golf because then I could still waste my time going crazy but get the benefit of a walk and some fresh air.

So has anyone else been clobbered likewise in only 5 conference games (or is it because I have all 5)?   Tell me please ;-)

Hi All,

After day 2 of the 21st UCB.....

At the top

Conference 7 top the table with 18 points  , Conference 1 are second on goal difference with 16 points from Conference 8 in third place.

At the bottom

Conference 5 are bottom with no points so far  , Conference 4 are second from bottom with 6 points, and Conference 2 are third from bottom with 10 points.

Still early days yet, so don't panic!!!

Update after day 3 of the 21st UCB.....

At the top

Conference 7 are still top of the table by 1 point with 27 points  , Conference 1 are second with 26 points, Conference 3 move up to third place with 21 points.

At the bottom

Conference 5 are still bottom, but picked up their first 7 points today  . Conference 4 are still second from bottom with 9 points, and Conference 2 are still third from bottom with 13 points.

Still a long way to go but Conference 7 & Conference 1 setting the pace!!!

Top 6 still unbeaten with maximum points, two from Conference 1 headed by Rich on goal difference.

Bottom 5 still without any points, including 2 teams from Conference 2 and Conference 4 ( My Cubans  . The Daoists are bottom on goal difference.

Conference 1 go top of the table by 2 points with 32 points, Conference 7 drop to second place with 30 points, Conference 8 move up to third place with 28 points.

At the bottom

Conference 5 are still bottom with 9 points, Conference 2 are now second from bottom with 15 points, and Conference 4 are now third from bottom with 18 points.

Top scorers today with 3 wins and 9 points were Conference 4, Lowest scorers were Conference 2 & 5 with 2 points.

Conference 7 go top of the table by 3 points with 40 points, Conference 1 drop to second place with 37 points, Conference 8 remain in third place with 34 points.

At the bottom

Conference 5 are still bottom with 13 points, Conference 2 are still second from bottom with 22 points, and Conference 4 are still third from bottom with 25 points ( from Conference 6 on GD )

Top scorers today with 3 wins and a draw with 10 points were Conference 7, Lowest scorers were Conference 3 & 6 with 3 points.
