A poor performance from Chelsea and they scrape 3 points due to an own goal. Over 80% possession but just 15 attempts on goal with only 3 of those being on target.

You've got to give the manager a bit of time I guess but I haven't been too impressed so far. Early days yet though to be fair.

Newcastle didn't come to play football but just to defend, highlighted by the possession stats, jorginho himself had 15%, Newcastles whole team had 18%.  So to grind out a win, that's what champions do we may lack the cutting edge up-front and need to tighten the defense, but deserved all 3 wins, so you can be unimpressed all you like, it doesn't change the fact it's been 3 from 3 so far

I've been mightily impressed with Mourinho this season,  when he wants to leave, he'll mentally fuck with the team/fans so much that it almost doesn't look like it's his fault.. It's all ed woodwards fault that you lost to Brighton y'know

You won't win the Premiership without a quality goalscorer, and Morata certainly isn't one.

Nobody with any sense is looking at Chelsea or Liverpool in terms of Championship material, it's going to come down to United or City again...as long as we don't lose another match during these next few months.
