FL4 PROMOTION CANDIDATES
With FL4 delayed due to registration issues it gives a little more time to look at FL4's teams to watch.
WESTEROS XI
Prediction: 1st
Jose's powerful outfit Westeros XI join the party and will surely be the team to beat in the newly revamped FL4 competition. A team that arguably should be mixing it with the best in FL1, they will go into the competition boasting an enviable recent private league record, only conceding once in a staggering 14 games. Westeros XI of course have already come close to tasting success with a narrow defeat in the Beer Cup Final, and will most probably line up in their favoured 4-5-1 formation with 7 season club legend Noel Stark spearheading the attack.
EXETER CITY F.C.
Prediction: 2nd
The well oiled Devon machine Exeter City are another new entry to FL's basement division and SL legend Nath will being a wealth of experience to the table. A great side with an astute tactician at the helm, anything other a first season promotion to FL3 will be labelled a failure. Exeter City have had a mixed start to life in 4-1-1, with a disappointing defeat to The Pompey Chimes last evening meaning they lie 7th after 4 games. A routine 3-0 victory over fellow FL4 Fremington in a recent private league competition shows they have nothing to fear in the forthcoming campaign.
THE FICKLE FERRETS
Prediction: 3rd
It's a case of what you see is what you get from the The Fickle Ferrets, nothing spectacular but a hard to beat and well organised decent side that will give everything for manager Owen Jefferies. Oi Prasinoi and Madbastid United have already suffered defeats against the Ferrets this season and 4 wins out of 4 in their division show that they are entering FL4 in a rich vein of form. Despite an apparent new side with the majority of players being in Yorkshire for 3 just seasons, The Fickle Ferrets may find that this is the season they will slide into gear and achieve 1 of the 3 promotion places.
