FL4 AND 4PTS CLEAR: FREMINGTON LEAD THE WAY
WESTEROS XI 0 vs 1 FREMINGTON
Shock result at the top as Fremington claim an unlikely victory...
Despite leading FL4 with 8 games played, many critics were asking when the Fremington bubble was about to pop. One of the elite SL teams, Westeros XI, 2nd in 1-1-1 with an abundance of talent were firm favourites and needed a win to take top spot from the plucky side from Devon. However, Football's a funny old game and it was the away side that came away with all 3pts thanks to a 30th minute strike which keeps Fremington's unbeaten record intact. We caught up a clearly happy Gull earlier today:
"We knew it was going to be a tough, tough game. I would've bitten your hand off with the draw and in all honesty I knew there was no margin for error. I appreciate I need about 90-100% tactical advantage to win against the SL elite and obviously that happened today. It doesn't happen often though, and another tough game coming up against White Hart Lane where again I will be keeping my fingers crossed for another minor miracle. Credit to the 3 Eyed Raven Jose, who is a manager I respect and think will still win the FL4 despite the defeat for his side today."
