I am chuffed to have clawed my way out of the relegation zone. I had an extremely lousy start, and I am definitely not out of the woods yet... but it is nice to breathe a sigh of relief for now.

Bill and I have got the lead back down to single figures - this will just be temporary though, I'm sure it'll be back in double figures by tomorrow lunchtime

FL1 has been strange this season, almost everyone from 6th downwards has a negative goal difference.

2/3 through the season and Peru's finest red dragons sit proudly on too with 45 points, one clear of pre-tournament favourites Fullerians who are well in the hunt. Steaua, Corinthians and Rathpeacon are next with 41 points. Beticos were beaten yesterday but are still well in contention on 39 points.

Super Imps remain 1st but have their lead cut to 7 points. The Seg and Realale Madrid are looking to keep pushing Rich's Imps as we approach the later part of the season.

Down the bottom, Fools United, The KC Shuffle & The Huckley Way look destined for FL2 football next season unless they can finish the last 8 games in championship form to give themselves hope of staying in this prestigious division!

Fullerians, the pre season favourites beat Rathpeacon 1-0 to stretch their lead at the top and move signficantly, to give themselves a seven point cushiin in the promotion race. Steaua kept theif title challenge up with a 3-0 win over georgia mayjay. Beticos beat the red dragons from Peru to join the dragons on 46 points while Corinthian Clowns were beaten 2-0  by Clayton to stay on 45. Rathpeacon remain on 42 points and are in danger of losing touch in the promotion race, one point from your last three games does that to your promotion prospects

I wouldn't worry pal in games like this where teams look like they could struggle they always walk over me and beat me  ypu have a strong squad so 1 player out won't be too much of a hindrance. Good luck either way!

The championship race heats up as The Seg closes the gap on Rich's Super Imps to just 2 points! Really exiting stuff as we approach the last 6 fixtures of the season. Let's not rule out a late charge from Realale Madrid and Mmmrs Phoenix Pigs who have had excellent campaigns so far and are still very much in mix!

Down the bottom, The Huckley Way have narrowed the gap to 6 points behind Jellybellies who will now be looking over their shoulder as the relegation battle intensifies!
