FL1 Season 72

Day 7 and The Imp's fortify their position on top of FL1. Today they went away to The Huckley Way and won 0-1. The Imp's are three points clear of second place. Up into second place are Menagerie who beat The Drog's 1-2. Up into the top three are those consistent climbers, Jellybellies. Today they beat The Shuffle 2-0. Hoarse Whisperer's are knocking on the top three door after a 0-1 away win at the FC. Town of Luton.

Real Ale Madrid fell from second to fifth as they were defeated 1-0 at The Pompey Chimes. The Chimes move into the top half of the table. The Seg and West End Girls shared the points in a 1-1 draw. In a family affair Angel took the honours defeating The Piggies 1-0. The Aten Warrior's travelled to Aston Villain's and came away with all the points after a 0-2 victory.

On Day eight there's a right battle royal going on in the top half of FL1. A couple of games either way and everyone is within shouting distance of a top three place

On Day 9 the Super Imps have restored their three point lead at the top of FL1. Today The Imps went down to Luton coming away with all three points. FC Town of Luton dropped into the bottom two. Menagerie remain in second place after a 1-1 draw with Angel Rrr's.  The Pompey Chimes saw off Aten Warriors 1-0 to complete a static top three. Moving up to fourth place are The West End Girls after defeating The Hoarse Whisperer's 3-0. The Girl's got some wind assistance from The Whisperer's having two players sent off.

Real Ale Madrid visited The Drogs beating them 0-1. The Jellybellies maintain their challenge with a 1-0 win over The Seg. The Piggies took all three points today winning 0-2 away at Deca's Villains. The Huckley Way and The Shuffle fought out a bottom of the table clash. The Huckley Way recorded a solid 2-0 home victory.

On Day 10 the top two teams, Super Imp's and Menagerie fought out a 1-1 draw. Super Imp's remain top with their lead cut to one point. Whilst Menagerie fall into fourth place. The Pompey Chimes climb into second place after dismissing bottom of the table, The Shuffle, 3-0. The Girls from the West End took all three points in a hard fought away battle with Aten Warriors. It finished 0-1. Mmmr's Phoenix Pigs beat FC.Town of Luton 1-0. The Luton based side appear to be struggling having not picked up any points in their last six games.

Real Ale Madrid and Jellybellies shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Angel Rrrr's recorded a late 1-0 home win over The Whispering Hoarse's. Their winning goal was scored in the 88th minute by Lefty Von Left. The Whisperer's were weakened and possibly distracted after Sergio Aguero was given a second yellow and was dismissed from the field of play. The Seg remain in the bottom half of the table but moved up one place after beating Aston Villain's 0-2. The Huckley Way move out of the bottom three after seeing off Steve's Drog's 0-1.

Terrible start to the season

Its Day eleven and the top two teams remain the same. Super Imps beat West End Girls at a 0-3 canter. In second place The Pompey Chimes beat The Piggies 1-0. One point separates the top two teams. However, and importantly a four point gap has now opened up between second and third places. Menagerie move up into third place after sharing the points in a 1-1 draw with The Villains. Real Ale Madrid move up into fifth place after a 0-0 draw with Angel Rrrr's, who themselves move into sixth place.

The Piggies move down into seventh after a 1-0 defeat by The Pompey Chimes. The Jellybellies recent good form came to an end after being defeated 0-2 by The Hoarse Whisperer's. Steve's Drog's move out of the relegation zone after beating Aten Warriors 1-0. The Seg recorded a 0-1 away victory sending The Huckley Way back into the relegation places.

Day 12 produces the most static table to date. Eleven Team's remain in yesterday's positions. Teams in positions 5-9 have moved slightly up or down. The Imp's have a two point lead. However what was a four point lead yesterday, between second and third is now only a one point gap.

Day 13 and the top five teams remain in the same order. Super Imp's went away to Realale Madrid and came away with a 0-1 win and a two point cushion at the top of FL1. The Pompey Chimes beat The Huckley Way 1-0 to remain in second one point ahead of third placed Menagerie. It was all guns blazing today as Menagerie dealt out a severe lesson to Hoarse Whisperer's by caning them 4-1. The teams in fourth and fifth, West End Girls and The Piggies respectively, shared a 0-0 draw.

The Jellybellies move up into sixth with a 0-1 away win. The Seg are slowly climbing the table. They impressed today with a 1-3 away win away at Angel Rrrr's. The Villains beat bottom of the table The KC. Shuffle 1-0. Sound's drastic bottom of the table, but maybe The Shuffle's fortunes can change as they are not being hammered, it's just the odd goal loss. Similar situation for The Huckley Way really. FC. Town of Luton finally got some points on the board today after a long pointless run. They beat The Drog's 0-2.

On Day 14 The Super Imp's restore a three point lead at the top of FL1. Today they beat Mmmr's Phoenix Pig's 0-1. Up into second are Menagerie after a 3-0 beating of bottom of the table KC. Shuffle. The Pompey Chimes drop into third after a 1-1 draw with fourth placed West End Girls. Jellybellies are up into fifth after a 0-2 win away at the Drog's. This defeat sends The Drog's down into the relegation zone.

Angel Rrrr's beat The Huckley Way 3-0 meaning a return to the bottom two for The Huck's. Hoarse Whisperer's went away to Aten Warriors and came away with a much needed 0-1 victory. The Seg is one place outside the top half of the table after a 1-2 away win at Real ale Madrid. FC. Town of Luton move out of the relegation zone after a 1-2 victory against Aston Villains.

On Day 15 the table is very static at this halfway point. Super Imps still leading but with a four point buffer. A good way to start the second half of the season. There are eight teams currently in contention for a top half finish. The Seg continues to improve beating Menagerie 0-5. The Seg remain outside the top half of the table but are now only two points off fourth place. Shows how tight it is.

It's Day 16, the first day of the second half of the season. Super Imp's maintain their four point lead at the top of the table after a 3-0 win V The Hoarse Whisperer's. The Pompey Chimes beat The Drog's 1-0 to move into second. Menagerie drop into third after a 1-0 defeat at Real Ale Madrid. The Piggies move into after thrashing Aten Warriors 7-0.

West End Girls fall three places after a 0-0 draw with Jellybellies. The Huckley Way and FC. Town of Luton share the points after a 2-2 draw. Angel Rrrr's beat Aston Villains and they move up into fifth place. The Seg beat The Shuffle 2-0 and move up into the top half of the table.
