FL1 Season 72

On the march now, my team have seemingly awoken from their 10 game slumber to start the season.

On Day 18 The Imp's are cementing top spot as their own. They maintain a four point lead after beating the recently improving Seg 2-0. The Pompey Chimes continue to look menacing in second after a 0-3 defeat of Angel Rrrr's. Menagerie remain a further three points back in third after an away victory at Aten Warriors, 0-2. Nij's Hoarsie's climb into fifth after beating bottom of the table The KC. Shuffle 4-2.

West End Girls are back up into sixth after beating The Huckley Way 0-2. Real Ale Madrid scored in the 14th minute and held on to a one goal win against The Piggies. FC. Town of Luton continue their revival with a 1-0 win V The Jellybellies. FC. Town have moved up to fifth from bottom of the table. The Villains and The Drog's shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

On Day 19 The Super Imp's open up a seven point lead at the top of FL1. The Imp's beat second placed Pompey Chimes 2-0. Also third placed The Menagerie were beaten by FC. Town of Luton 1-0. The Luton recovery continues to gather momentum.

On Day 20 the top five teams remain the same. As do the bottom three

On Day 21 The Imps have opened up a ten point gap as they lead FL1. The Table is static as no Team moves position. Hoarse Whisperer's beat The Pompey Chimes 3-0. Menagerie forged a 0-1 win against West End Girls. FC. Town of Luton continue to improve as they beat Real Ale Madrid. The Drogs beat The Seg but still remain in the bottom three.

On Day 22 Everyone is fiddling as Rome burn's. Except The Mighty Super Imp's who open up a 13 point lead. Nuff Said.

Day 23 and The Super Imp's maintain their lead. Hoarse Whisperer's move into second place. Menagerie and The Pompey Chimes both remain three points off second. The bottom three teams remain the same.

Day 24 and The Imp's have a 15 point lead. The other Teams can only see him in the distance as he has his fog lamps on. The Imp's beat FC.Town of Luton 4-0. Hoarse Whisperer's remain in second after a 1-1 draw with West End Girls. The Chimes move up into third after a nail biting win at Aten Warriors. Pompey trailed 1-0, equalised then trailed 2-1. Then they went onto take the game 2-3. Menagerie drop one place into fourth as they lose 0-1 at home to Angel.

The Piggies dealt out a tactical lesson to The Villains today with a stunning 4-1 victory. Real Ale Madrid recorded a 1-0 home win over The Drogs. The Seg remain in seventh place after a 2-1 win over Jellybellies. The bottom of the table encounter saw The Shuffle take all three points in a 1-0 win over The Huckley Way. The Shuffle are improving but may have left it to late to avoid the drop.

It's almost over. Super Imp's are the Alpha Team. Not to be messed with

Super Imp's are The Champion's. "We're glad it's all over."

Two battles still on. Who is going to finish in the top 3? At the other end of the table The KC Shuffle are improving. Is it too late or can they do well enough in the last three games to avoid relegation.

Menagerie, The Pompey Chimes and The Hoarse Whisperer's are in second, third and fourth, all on 51 points. The fight is still on for top three places. The Shuffle suffered a blow today by losing 1-0 to The Villains. They are now four points behind The Villains who occupy the last non relegation place
