Christmas Break

The view from high up in the Stands is one of a snowy wasteland. The pitch seems to have grown bigger as you can't see where the grass finishes and the track side begins. I've let some of the local kids onto the pitch, supervised by the Grounds Staff, so they can build Snow Player's and have Snow fights, before the pitch clearing operation starts in haste, later. The Floodlight's have that Christmassy feel as the snow swirls high above the ground. The Match day announcer is playing his usual Christmas playlist, including the remixed "Walking on the Pitch." The catering staff are dishing out the bacon butties. Merry Christmas to all involved with the Club, and fellow Managers elsewhere. The Clubhouse bar is open later. It's ticket on the door and/or you are known to the door staff. Season's Greetings

I think the snow has begun to thaw as we have had a flood in the generator power house. The Floodlight's are down and the engineer's are on the way. We are letting local media outlet's know that the game will need rearranging.

Lets hope it takes the engineers until the new year to fix the generators.

After much discussion with The Engineer's, they suggested that after water leakage repair's the generator needs a new cranking handle. So it's been ordered from the Vladivostok branch of Amazon, hopefully delaying the game's restart. As I enter the card details for the purchase the Snow has begun to fall heavier onto the deserted ground.

I think the Christmas break will be announced tomorrow. However it will be a short break until about the 27th.

The Christmas break has been announced. Working on the basis that this afternoons games are being played. Then the game should recommence with the evening games on January 1st. Well Done Junior
