Thanks for all of the suggestions which are helpful. I've sent out over 100 requests. If there is any active team who is short like me that would like to play me 30times, please send me a message.

Could you not just make a couple of accounts and challenge them?

Or, slightly cheaper(?), check right down the leagues to see which teams are actually active (and look at "who's on line"). And I assume all those who have posted have challenged each other (H&A)  .

PS Just noticed "We Play Like Girls" --- Conference 1, League 3, Division 1, Northwest Region ---  is (or has been) logged in very recently?  They have 5 friendlies listed (so clearly do play them) and, clearly, plenty of spaces.

If they are a team struggling to get friendlies (or not really interested) then I apologise for getting it wrong.

Unless I'm missing something completely obvious then making a couple of accounts and challenging them either side of 3pm will soon get your slots filled - It's what I do anyway.

I noticed if i send out a friendly request for a points game, it is supposed to be automatically approved within 24 hours unless your opponent rejects the request or if they have no free slot. I'm hoping that this will fill up my slots quickly. Ive only got 10 friendlies set for this season. Had no friendlies for the last 7 days of last season either. Ive been struggling to fill my slots for a while which is why i startex this thread a long time ago

Played my first friendly of the season today. Good news is that my slots are filled until 1st of May. Bad news is that i have 18 empty slots after that but at least i have time to fill those.


If anyone else has slots to fill, please challenge rathpeacon

I noticed if i send out a friendly request for a points game, it is supposed to be automatically approved within 24 hours unless your opponent rejects the request or if they have no free slot. I'm hoping that this will fill up my slots quickly. Ive only got 10 friendlies set for this season. Had no friendlies for the last 7 days of last season either. Ive been struggling to fill my slots for a while which is why i startex this thread a long time ago 

I dunno. Given that so many managers do fill their friendly slots (and quite quickly) it would be silly to not consider that you are doing something different (and less effective) than they are?  This is just an attempt to help but maybe you could look at what you do at the start of the season and try to figure out why it doesn't work too well? As we know, friendlies really matter (for a number of reasons) so finding what's going wrong would not just be nice --- it would be vital. Best of luck.

I was travelling for most of the past two weeks and wasn't on Sunday league much, that's why I missed out on the friendlies this time.

You are right that I am doing something else wrong because for the past two seasons, I have had some unfilled slots at the end of both seasons.

I'm making progress for this season but I still have nine unfilled slots

Maybe you could look at trying to fill slots at the end of the season (plus a few extra that need refusing)? That way all the earlier ones will be filled. IE Issue as many challenges as your credits will allow. If a challenge is not taken-up within two days, cancel it and challenge someone else --- etc.

Yeah that is probably the best way to do it.

I have filled my slots to the restof the season now. I missed out on the first 8 days of this season and the end of last so quite a long time. Lessons learned for future seasons for me.

Any challenges you do at any time this Season get wiped out as the Season changes and you get your credits refunded
