Day 20 brings us to two thirds of the way through the FL1 season. The Super Imps remain top with a three point lead. Going into today the lead was five points but The Imps were held to a 1-1 draw with Real Ale Madrid. Angel Rrrr's were able to capitalise and close the gap at the top with a 3-0 victory over Aten Warriors. The Warriors find themselves in the thick of the FL1 relegation battle. The Pompey Chimes remain in third after a 0-6 romp against Menagerie. Hoarse Whisperer's move into fourth after a convincing 3-0 demolition of Aston Villains.

The Seg fall into fifth place after a 1-1 draw with Mmmr's Phoenix Pigs. The Jellybellies and FC. Town of Luton draw 2-2. Steaua Sudului and Rathpeacon drew 1-1 and Rathpeacon find themselves in the relegation zone. The West End Girls move out of the bottom three for the first time this season. They beat The Ogre's 5-2. ;) 8)

four draws and six losses in my last ten games. FL2 here I come  :'(

I've 18 goals scored, 5 came against Menagerie so I've 13 goals in the other 20 games just isnt enough. 22 conceded in 21 games is hardly bad but it's very hard to win games without scoring  :D

Sad to say that, last night, I chose to ditch 3 of my best players. They were all nearing their time and I might have got another dozen days (or even more) out of one or all of them but maybe I wouldn't and the kind of replacements I was looking for were available.  But at least I think I have achieved safety in FL for another season and safety is what all managers claim is their first priority in any league in any kind of football anywhere :-).  I'm just posting this in case my results start going bad and it looks like I lost the plot.   :o :o :o ;D

On Day 23 The Super Imps are still four points ahead of second place in FL1. The relegation battle is starting to hot up as The Ogre's fall into second from bottom. Then, The West End Girls and Rathpeacon are both struggling to keep afloat. Aten Warriors are in fifth from bottom. :o 8)

On Day 24 Super Imps have now built a seven point lead at the top of FL1. Ag told the after game press conference that he thought his Girls were very unlucky to be defeated today. Ag felt we at least should have had a draw. 8)

On Day 25 The Imp's open up a nine point lead at the summit of FL1. The Pompey Chimes and The Seg remain in second and third. Hoarse Whisperer's and Angel Rrr's are in fourth and fifth places. These four team's will be fighting it out for the minor prizes.

In the relegation battle West End Girls will be joining FL2 next season unless they can pull off a miracle change of form. The Girls are currently six points away from being on a par with other teams in the relegation dogfight. Rathpeacon are hitting a well timed rich vein of form. Beating The Chimes and Angel Rrr's in consecutive day's. The Ogre's won today and The Aten Warriors gained a point in a 1-1 draw with The Chimes. ;) 8)

Three wins in my first 22 games, then three wins in a row! Badly needed but will need another couple of wins to stay in FL1.

On Day 26 of FL1 The Super Imp's are within reach of securing the title. The Seg have moved into second place eleven points behind the leader. No movement at the bottom of the table. Rathpeacon grab a further three points. The Ogre's were taken to the cleaner's 4-1 by the unstoppable Super Imp's. Aten warriors drew 1-1 away with The Piggies. West End Girls drew 1-1 away at Real Ale Madrid 8)
