FL 2. Season 74 is about to get underway.

Welcome back to our old players and a special welcome to our new players this season.
I hope you all enjoy playing your games this season.

Really looking forward to the fixture release of the FL2, and I think it has to the potential to be a really tight league.

In CSI-Westgate, Ogres & The KC Shuffle you have the 3 best teams in 7-1-1 this year, so any one of them can make a real challenge for a promotion place. Liverwood Luddities had a strong campaign last time out and shouldn't be ruled out. Subgenius were unbeaten up until last nights defeat to Super Imps, but still lie 3rd in 1-1-1 and will be a hard team to take points off of. My Eintracht Fremfurt side has probably enjoyed the best start to the season since my return, top by 3 points and a ICC QF tie to look forward to, however narrowly avoided relegation last year so will need to improve drastically. BUBBLES players look set to be declining very soon but this will mean they have a starting XI at the peak of their powers - their talented squad lie 3rd in a quality 2-1-1 league, so they will be there or thereabouts. Blue Star Knights are a relatively new side but they will be eager to impress in their first full season in FL2. Again they are going well this season, lying 4th in 3-1-1. Kushberry, last years FL3 Champions, are tipped to make an immediate impact too. Westeros XI, although going through a rebuild, still possess quality and have a battle hardened coach in Jose who would still want success. Can't be ruled out.

If I had to predict a top 10 it would be as follows:

2. Ogres
3. BUBBLES
4. Kushberry
5. Subgenius
6. Eintracht Fremfurt
7. Blue Star Knights
8. Liverwood Luddities
9. The KC Shuffle
10. Westeros XI

So we are off at last.
First day gives us seven wins and one draw
Top scorers today were Eintracht Fremfurt with a 5 - 1 win against Kushberry F.C.  Other winners were, Blue Star Knights, Ogres, SL Benfica, Subgenius, HH Beticos and The KC Shuffle.

Good to take advantage of Kushberrys injury crisis, other teams won't be as lucky to play them with 2 of their DMIDC's injured.

After game two today we are left with four teams with 100% records.  They are Ogres who won 2 - 0 against The Huckley Way, The KC Shuffle who won 4-1 at SL Benfica, Blue Star Knights with a 3 - 0 win against Subgenius and HH Beticos after winning 1-0 at Liverwood Luddites.

And then there were two, Two teams left with 100% records.  Blue Star Knights head the table on goal difference after a 6 - 1 win against Liverwood Luddites.  Ogres are the other 100% team after winning 2-0 at CSI-Westgate on Sea.  Eintracht Fremfurt claim third place with a 2-0 win at The KC Shuffle.  Three teams are still to get off the mark.  The Red Dragon who lost 1-0 against Westeros XI,    The Huckley Way after losing 3-0 against The Rumour Mill and Liverwood Luddites after their loss today.

Blue Star Knights are the only 100% points team and have a two point lead at the top after a 2 - 0 win against Kushberry F.C.     Ogres are second and shared a goalless draw with Subgenius.  The KC Shuffle move into third on goal difference with a 3-0 win at Westeros XI.  There are two teams at the bottom, still to win a point,    The Red Dragon    who lost 1-0 against HH Beticos, and The Huckley Way who lost 3-1 at Liverwood Luddites.

The last 100% record goes as Blue Star Knights are held to a goalless draw by Ogres who drop down to fourth.  HH Beticos move up to second with a 1-0 win at bottom team The Huckley Way.  Eintracht Fremfurt are third after winning 3-0 at Corinthian Casuals.  The Red Dragon remain next to bottom after losing 2-0 against BUBBLES.  Liverwood Luddites move into the bottom three after being held to a 1-1 draw at CSI-Westgate on Sea.

Blue Star Knights are now three points in front at the top after a 1 - 0 win against Eintracht Fremfurt.  SL Benfica move into second place with a 3 - 0 win against  HH Beticos.  Subgenius take third place after winning 1-0 at third from bottom Liverwood Luddites.  At the bottom, The Huckley Way lost 5-0 at next to bottom The Red Dragon.

Leaders  Blue Star Knights held to a 2 - 2 draw by fourth place SL Benfica.  Ogres take second place with a 9 - 1 win against Westeros XI.  Eintract WhatTheFurt move back into the top three with a 1-0 win at HH Beticos.  The Huckley Way remain bottom after losing 4-1 against Corinthian Casuals.  The Red Dragon stay next to bottom after losing 6-2 at CSI-Westgate on Sea.  Liverwood Luddites lost 8-0 against  BUBBLES and are third from bottom.

Leaders Blue Star Knights lost 1-0 against Corinthian Casuals and now only head the table on goal difference.  SL Benfica   move into second place with a 2 - 0 win against bottom of the league, The Huckley Way.   Ogres drop to third after sharing a goalless draw with Eintracht Fremfurt.  Next to bottom, The Red Dragon lost 2-0 against Subgenius.  Third from bottom, Liverwood Luddites lost 4-0 against Kushberry F.C.
